Can't believe Shane scored off his no-no parts (AKA yes, please parts)...even the joy of scoring a goal wouldn't mask his grimace of pain.
Personally he can use his little toe as long as he scores. Nice to see a Saints win. Or I should say hear a saints win. Listening to the game on my iPad. It finished in the middle of the night here. Just before 3 am. Woke the wife up When Armstrong scored (and the neighbour I think) ho hum.......
Not sure on this criticism, sounds like some are putting him in the same petulance bracket as Neymar. So he whines a bit... we fouled him as soon as he got the ball all game long. He’s captain of his hometown club, he’s grown up a lot and is only 24. He’s the reason they have even a hope of staying up. He’s got more talent than any of our players and we’ve also had some petulant divers in our time (Tadic, Mane, Boufal now, every club has them (Salah, Noble etc.).
Spot on. Stuck with the club when they were relegated. If only some of our ex-players had that kind of loyalty.
Just goes to show how important it is to have a regular goal scorer in your team. Grealish has a ton of talent but he can't do everything. If Villa had someone like, well, Danny Ings they would be mid table.
A combination of a TIOON7 positive thread, with Lawro predicting a Wet Spam win, will guarantee three more points for the Super, Soaraway, Saints. The only way is up!

We wanted it more yesterday and looked well up for it all game. Villa only got a sniff when we gave grealish a bit of space (i think twice) and both times he nearly made us pay. As for our lot some strong performances; smallbone looked promising and JWP is playing really well at the moment.
Don't feel bad for us, we are buzzing. 31 wasn't enough, 34 proves we'll get more. This is going to be the best end to a season since Ron's magical run.
Came home to find that a pigeon had fallen down into my boarded up fireplace. Ended up flying around the room when I removed the board until i eventually got a towel over it and got it outside. Almost as strange as saints winning at home.
It is always curious to see some of the reports after the match and see how different they are from your own perceptions. The possession stats always seem baffling as I did not think Villa actually had much of the ball until the second half. Djenepo was also cited as Man of the Match but I agree with the earlier comment that Armstrong was our best player although Reina played a blinder. If Villa go down, I think we could do a lot worse than poaching Tyrone Mings.
