Probably his greatest achievement whilst at the helm, Steve McClaren managed to get us our first ever win at the City Ground in December 2018. Otherwise we haven't had much joy on our travels to Forest, with 20 loses and 14 draws in our history before that. A win this time round on our visit would be lovely, but it could be quite a challenge. Forest haven't been in great form over their last 6 games (W2, D2, L2), but they sit 5th, only 4 points from an automatic promotion spot. Lewis Grabban is their leading man, with 16 goals this year. As for us, Saturday's great come back put an end to a bad run of five without a win, a run that had a few nervously looking over their shoulders. Another few points and a comfortable mid table finish will be secured, which given the financial mess we are in, is all I ever really hoped for. Team news QPR: Charlie Owens (knee). Nottingham Forest: Nuno da Costa (knock). Enjoy those who are going and... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!! Pre-match thoughts from the boss;
Cheers Dave. I’d forgotten all about David Needham, but once I saw the name I remembered a very good player, surprised he only played 18 games for us. He was unlucky to join just as we went off the boil. But Cloughie pinched him and he got a league champions medal as a result. I fancy us to get another win this weekend, but what do I know?
Night before the game and the thread has been up for two whole days with two comments...a lot of excitement around our last 13 games.

I cant see us repeating last year's victory there. Having said that, when we played Forest at home this season, I wasn't overly impressed by them. They struck me as a possible play off contender rather than an auto chasing contender. Cue a hammering tomorrow.
lets hope we see a similar performance like the game against Stoke.....however don't go 2 down before we start playing.
Forest were outplayed and beaten by Charlton in their last home game then drew at Albion so their form is unpredictable...
Does anybody like this team which I borrowed from a website? I expect the central pairing to be Barbet and Hall. I think that Rangel may also be rested.
Having read the arrogant comments on the LFW preview from their contributor it would be nice to shove the arrogance back up where the sun doesn't shine....
