If JE or anyone from his family reads this, apologies. Don't judge a whole forum by one or two posters.
Isn't that basically the main function of a news outlet and in turn a secondary outlet such as a forum or social media site? If drawing attention to an existing article is now an issue that we need to apologise for then surely the mods should delete the public realm strategy thread and anything else that ever links out to another websites story... basically, everything but our own opinions on football. And let's be honest, the vast majority of us know **** all about football having not played for, managed or been employed by a club at this or any other professional level.
Because one of the functions of this forum is to share news. As the forum is one with a focus on Hull City, the club, its fans and its players (past, present and future) there is interest in this story. Admittedly, the link between this Eyre and our club is tenuous but if its published in the HDM surely it's no less noteworthy than some of the other stuff that get linked/posted.
It seems like muckraking prurient over-the-garden wall gossip **** to me. No idea how any decent fan can think it appropriate or interesting to post,
What's most inappropriate about this thread is the title. Associating a presumably innocent man with a pretty ****ty crime is bang out of order.
You're entitled to you're opinion I suppose but unless it breaks any rules on posting I guess your opinion doesn't really mean much. If it does break rules then it'll be removed. I think the mods on here do a good job of keeping things light. As for being a decent fan - I dont really know who bashdabish is or what they're about but I dont think any less of them as a fan for posting this. The username is unforgivable **** though!
