Plumpton 2.10 Supreme Escape Evan Williams hasn't send many runners to Plumpton over the last 5 seasons. This horse gave the impression last time that up in trip on heavy ground should suit. Will be interesting to see if there is some market support tomorrow.
Newcastle 1.30 Maybe its interesting to know for you what trainer Tim Vaughn told Attheraces about his runner Jean Genie (currently 11/2) in his stable tour recently: "He ran in the Grade 1 at Chepstow recently but was backward and green and is going to need time. We will step him up in trip and he is a horse for next year really. He will have a couple of more runs and then be turned away."
Newcastle 3.00 KAUTO D'AMOUR Didn't get home over 3m + last time when leading for a long way. Tomorrow down in trip and stable in really good form now. Looks to have a nice each way chance.
Ew lucky 31/acca: 2:10 Plumpton - Fortunate George 7/1 2:20 Kempton - Ginger Fox 4/1 3:20 Kempton - Exceed Loose 10/1 4:00 Newcastle - Arthurs Secret 11/2 (4 places) 4:10 Plumpton - Zoltan Varga 4/1
Really interesting to see Emma attempt to make use of 10lb claimed to get Fortunate George back in the winners enclosure. Neil King doing the same with NAUTICAL TWILIGHT in the last who I rather fancy
Plumpton 3.40 Morney Wing Charlie Mann with smart stats over the last 5 seasons at this track: PLUMPTON (Chases) 18 runs 7 wins 3 placed Morney Wing stays this trip and is on a dangerous handicap mark. Rex Dingle a very eyecatching booking in this conditional event.
I won’t see any racing in the day tommorow, but i’ve done a L15 for a crack Tambura 210 plumpton , love this mare , she loves plumpton and mud , zoe baker knows her well , neil king may have fresh end her up 8/1 from 16s Lugg River 230 newcastle, tom symonds been very sparring with this one , ran on last time in a listed race , the champ is on top 7\1 Eddifs Elton 410 plumpton, ran a very eye catching race lto , any improvement on that should seal the deal 5/2 Venture 220 kempton , tom ward whose been in a bit of form , returns this one to scene of its win , hollie doyle aboard5/1 if they all come in i’ll have. a week off
Its interesting that Supreme Escape who was entered for this race until yesterday with Adam Wedge up now doesn't run and the stable sticks with Treasure Dillon. This horse was unlucky last time when falling 3 out. Propably would have been placed.
Plumpton 1.40 Pure Country Trainer Noel Wilson has had 8 runs 1 win 4 placed in non-handicap hurdles at this track over the last 5 seasons which is eyecatching for each way purposes. Surely better was expected for this Frankel-gelding when with Freddy Head in france. Didn't make an impact on hurdles debut at Ascot last time but is entered in a strong looking maiden hurdle at Exeter so seems to be held in some regard. Could sneak 3rd place at least at generous odds.
3.10 Zero To Hero Maybe its interesting to know for you what the Leech yard says about Zero To Hero's chances according to todays race: "Our next runner is at Plumpton on 20 January when Zero to Hero travels to Plumpton for the 3.10 race which is a 1m 7f 195yd Mares' Handicap Hurdle with Cieran Gethings aboard. She dropped in grade having raced in a Listed contest last time out and should find this easier although it still looks competitive. She would have place claims."
Plumpton 4.10 The Tin Miner - Winner at this track - stable has had 47 handicap hurdlers in the money from 99 runs at Plumpton over the last 5 seasons - possibly needed comeback run after a layoff last time - on a workable mark - stable amongst the winners recently
I’ve been looking at this and the jockey booking caught my eye. This is easier than her first assignment at a shorter distance.
Sorry mate gonna take you on with shanahans turn with a n 8lb claimer the Richard Rowe horse took 22 attempts to shed its maiden and this horse is quite consistent.
Course win was over jumps! And for a different yard. Was 20/1 that day and I think someone on here tipped it that day.
Newcastle 2:30 La Hulpe On November 8th OddDog selected La Hulpe for a bumper at Warwick. Didn't run without promise in 4th that day. Couldn't back that up in another bumper after that and first run over hurdles rather disappointing last time. But Warren Greatrex has mentioned La Hulpe in his stable tour at Attheraces in early december last year: "She is a half sister to Whisper who was a good horse for Nicky Henderson and she hasn’t come up to scratching and jumping is her game. She will go hurdling now and she is a nice mare." So a better performance on her 2nd run over hurdles today not ruled. Holds an entry for a quite competitive looking novice hurdle at Warwick.
In the last at Newcastle runs Rising Marienbard which I backed a few times before his long break. Lucinda Russell wrote this on the stables website about Rising Marienbard: "Caught our eye having won his sole start between the flags and has really begun to find his feet under Rules, placed on his last three outings, flying at the finish to take third last time having got outpaced on the good ground. A strong stayer, he has more to offer and looks sure to win races over 3m+." Should be suited by todays stamina test and yard can ready one after long layoff.
Not the most exciting bumper. I thought Miss Lamb might have a fair chance with the handy WFA allowance.
