Derby were dealt a huge blow after midfielder Krystian Bielik was ruled out of the rest of the season with a "significant" knee injury. Midfielder Graeme Shinnie (hamstring) is close to a return, though, while George Evans (thigh) and Max Bird (muscle) are progressing. Striker Josh Magennis could return to Hull's after missing the last 10 matches with a hamstring injury. New signings Martin Samuelsen and Mallik Wilks could make their debuts. Match facts Derby have won their last three home league matches against Hull by an aggregate score of 11-0. Hull are looking to complete their first league double over Derby since the 2012-13 season. Derby County have lost just one of their last 12 home league games (W7 D4 L1), winning each of their last two in a row. Hull City haven't won four consecutive away games in all competitions since December 2012. Since his Derby County debut, Wayne Rooney has completed more passes than any other Rams player in the Championship (68). Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen has scored more goals following a ball carry in the Championship than any other player this season (five). Got to get back on track and it’s not a happy hunting ground recently for us. Sort it Tel. I’m going smash n grab 2-1 to us.
Derby are up there with Geordies & TWS with self entitlement, which basically makes them massive ****s. Not for the first time, City 3 nowt.
Probs my second favourite footy team after Hull. Loved them since the heady days of Brian and Peter and Big Kevin Hector and the lifting of the curse on the Baseball Ground pitch which held them back, unfairly, for so long. Felt a bit torn with the playoff games to be honest and a little disappointed when they couldn't add to their 2 - 0 at the KCom Circle ground. They played so well in those first 10 minutes and we just shut up shop and defended resolutely for the next 80. Hardly positive, attacking footy. Think they've been hard done to in recent years, unlucky with losing ground late on in a season on several occasions, simply by losing games and not picking up points. Hardly fair given that they'd had such a good start to each season. Had a lot of creatives playing for them too, such as Incy who obviously lit up our stadium too. And they should have credit given to them for giving a management start to Frankie L as well. A hero. A true hero. And now a spiritual home for the peerless Wayne Rooney. A man who'd play footy for nowt if he had to. A true servant for England, Liverpool and Manchester. If not the world. Bless 'em all. Two nil to them. But a plucky performance from us against, frankly, superior opposition. I've lost my mind haven't I?
Not keen on Derby. Though I did meet the Indian Elvis on the way to KC for the second leg play off game. He seemed a good lad and travelled all over watching the Rams. 3-1 City.
we’ll lose 2-0 it’s a given (Had an invite to a box there tomorrow, but I’m not going. Probably means we’ll win 6-5)
Reserving judgement until know who the 2 big players are... If its one of the back 4 then thats not good news..
Following the decision to charge the Rams, the matter will be referred to an Independent Disciplinary Commission. If found guilty, the maximum potential deduction is 21 points - 12 for the actual breach, plus a further nine if it was to be regarded as an aggravated offence - and there would also be a financial penalty. Derby are currently 17th in the Championship, 10 points above the relegation zone. Yes please, make it 21,
First away game of season today ( plastic alert) how many we taking? Usually a decent atmosphere at Derby, apart from the time we got pumped 5-0
That 5 nowt should be looked at in the bigger picture. It made their confidence higher & subsequent disappointment greater when we returned & stuffed them 3 nowt in the Play-off a few weeks later.
