Presumably you're in touch with him? If so can you let him know it's only here he's banned from and should still be able to access the wider forum.
In other news, Camilla Parker Bowels has just presented Princess Anne with an honorary degree at Aberdeen University. What a load of worthless crap - an insult to those who have grafted for years for their qualifications. I wish they`d all clear off to Canada. By the way, I wonder if Harry and Meghan considered whether Canada wants them, or did they just arrogantly assume it ?
I am yes. He doesn't seem too fussed, just that some have boots far longer than their feet actually are.
I think we should all march right on over to Saintsweb, at least they only talk absolute bollocks about football
Wow, I see i missed the sticky revolution. Looks a lot nicer on here now the aura around the whole place is a much friendlier colour.
I have never got the point of honorary degrees unless they are a reward for work done in a subject, but I assume there is a reason that I am not aware of...publicity ?? However, as a possessor of a degree I can say that the awarding of an honorary degree has never offended me...as everyone knows that it doesn't confer any advantage on the recipient. They aren't going to be used in a job application. I try not to sweat the small stuff (as long as it isn't about Saints ).
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-51113132 Wow...what you call bad luck. A man in Spain died when his apartment block was hit by a huge piece of metal from an explosion 2 miles away.
Wanted to add a comment about the generational argument going on on the match thread (as I don't want to interrupt it with non-match stuff). Babies are born every minute of every day...there is no dividing line between generations...we are a continuum with every age forming part of the community.
Just been to Bucharest for a couple days. Not a bad place. My taxi driver to the airport recommended me to go stay in the Transylvanian countryside next time because it feels like medieval Europe there. Even got wild bears roaming around. Prince Charles owns a house there apparently, which doesn't surprise me, the f*cking vampire. Now en route to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Was in Bucharest in the mid-90s, when it still felt very much like an ex-communist city trying hard to pull itself out of the past. Was amazed by the wide boulevards and the beautiful architecture, some of which had been pulled down and replaced by concrete monstrosities in the Ceausescu era. My Romanian colleague told me that Bucharest was called “the Paris of the East” in the 30s and I could see why. I’d love to go back and stay outside in the countryside ..... added to the bucket list! on a separate note - Susan, will you be able to do the next thread after we beat Wolves on Saturday?
