It's an announcement for the season ticket holders who are going to take up those spaces. A post on social media is hardly a massive undertaking, is it? How long is your meltdown likely to last, by the way?
Your missing the point here mate. The good news is that its only a few hundred more disappointed fans rather than thousands Meltdown?
Ahh right ok forgot about all that beeling ive been doing Ill get over the all the devastation ive been going through by saturday im sure
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50685505 Some interesting stats for the last decade. I note that they only talk about spending in league terms and not specific to clubs. Just looking at the top 6 in their list it would be worth noting that every point City have won has come at a cost (just in transfer fees) of £1.8 Million (gross spend) or £1.2 Mill (net) - by comparison each point we have won has cost £913,00 (gross) or £123,000 (net). In between the Gross figures are Chelsea 1.6m, Man U 1.5m, Liverpool 1.3m & Arsenal 1.1m - Net they move around Man U 919,00, Chelsea 500,000, Arsenal 485,000, & Liverpool 363,000. There is no question that if wages were also factored in we would look even more effective, and whilst there are no prizes for being a well run club, I do think that as we narrow the gap financially this does augur well or the future. It also shows just what a good job Poch did (though we all knew that). I would also suggest that if half way through the decade I had suggested that we would end the decade with as many wins in the league as the Goons by the time we reached Dec 2019 I would have been laughed out of town, but its there in black and white as much to do with them slipping I will agree, but it still looks good to see a table for the 10 years with us ahead of them even it is by the smallest of margins.
Sean Wright Phillips told a story about when he was at Chelsea. They were facing us in the Cup. Mourinho told him that he wouldn’t be starting the match, but that if they were losing at half time he’d bring him on and Chelsea would draw the match, and then beat us at the Lane. SWP said that Chelsea went in at half time 3-0 down to us, so Mourhino brought him on for the second half, and the match ended a draw. Chelsea went on to beat us 1-2 at Lane. SWP said that players used to love playing us because we would “roll over” when we went behind. He said that Mourhino will change that.
Interest continues to ramp up. Tens of millions of us play. We just don't play very well. Not to put too fine a point on it, but Iceland plays more than a thousand times better, considering they qualified for the last World Cup, the USA didn't, and the USA has more than one thousand times more people.
Iceland probably has their best players in a smaller league. USA is really many countries in one (if that makes sense?) as are their clubs and players.Spread out! It was at one time in the past. The English,Spanish,Mexicans,Dutch,French and native Americans (not forgetting Alaska and the Russians!).But most of them were kicked out or...…….! Can you imagine how expensive it must be to be a travelling fan in American "soccer"?
They got College "soccer" on tv together with other sports. They actually show "Beach Soccer!" How they can dribble a ball on sand I have no idea. But the ladies Beach volley ball, bikinis and everything....that is definitely watchable!!!!
