Axel Tuenzebe has been sub in every premier league game so far so he is clearly seen as a 1st team player now. It therefore leaves him and Jones. And, until he actually leaves, Rojo.
Needs to get fit but yeah, he's also an option. Would personally have Jones ahead of him as 4th choice though. Not that that's an endorsement of any kind.
Bailly is made of glass. The only reason there is talk of us offering him a new contract is to boost his resale value and Darmian seems set to join a 'European' club in the next few days according to the BBC. Personally I would keep what we have until the January window - selling/loaning out now just seems a bit of a risk.
Darmian on his way to Parma, another drain off the books. ole is doing well with the clear out in his first window, lets hope January brings more and adds decent replacements.
We should have offloaded these players earlier in the window to better plan for the season. That is again Eddy's job but we failed miserably. I feel like we wasted much of this window given the glaring weakness in creativity from the middle of the park and still lack of 20 goal striker in the team. Still a long season though...
Interesting listening to Matic talk his way out of the club - no need for any of that crap you disloyal bastard - work hard and play when asked, play your part or **** off in the next window, either or.
Out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has said manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to hold himself responsible if the club are not in the running for the Premier League title this season. Matic, 31, has been a fixture in United's midfield since his move from Chelsea in 2017 but has played only 22 minutes this season after making one appearance as a substitute. This is disgusting! He should never again play for the team.
De Gea signs a new contract. With a clear head, he can find form. In form, he's still a top keeper in world football. Surely better than signing someone new. A small step forward again, couple of signings in January to push on further.
After reading a few 'reports' that we might have an interest in Sancho, I watched the Dortmund v Barca game last night and I have to say he was very impressive. Hadn't put much faith in the hype - but he is an incredible, versatile young talent - all the more reason why we won't have a hope in hell of signing him. A few more games like that and he will get hoovered up by Barca, Juve or RM rather than sign for a club in 'transition', no matter how many other young England players we have on the books.
Sorry, that should have read 'a club in transition' or a 'club in decline'. Don't forget Kloppy is leaving soon - it'll be downhill all the way from there (again)
