I'm concerned about bale as i think he is not devoloping, he needs a stand out performance like a hatrick or him destroying a top defender like Maicon, Ramos Smalling Or Alves. Just A thought. I rate Downing better . Cheers John
I thought he did have a very good game for Wales against Montenegro, althougth he hasn't really got going for Spurs this year but early times.
I'm concerned about bale as i think he is not devoloping, ------------------------------------------------------------- I'd be concerned if he 'devoloped' at all! ps. when was Downings last hat-trick, even against a **** defender...just a thought.
"Stand out" performances from Downing........? No, I can't think of any either. Thanks for the concern John. Come back and say hi when your perrenial underachiever has "developed." Bear in mind that Bale is 22 and Downing is 27. I guess he's a late developer.
Yeah whatever, its taken you 2hrs to find a Harrietsham outside of Kent! ...I suppose there's a Gillingham nicknamed the Gills over there too!
Actually Jones did a job on Bale last month Lidls, when he hacked him down and got away with it. That seems to be the way that he's dealt with at the moment and Redknapp needs to highlight it. Doubling up probably won't be very effective if we stick with the 4-4-2. It would allow the forwards too much space.
That's exactly right, IMO. Doubling up is the only effective way of stopping Bale. That should leave space elsewhere. The one thing all defenders hate, is players who run at them. Bale is capable of doing just that with pace, control, and strength. Very difficult to defend against.
Ensil, I trust you are not mocking the sainted "King" Kenny. A thunderbolt from above may strike you down. Or at best you could wake up and find that the wheels and stereo have been nicked from your car.
Come on Ens, think about it man. It's all of our hubcaps at stake here! Just say he is a genius. It'll placate them...
Good job that somebody is making sure that spelling and grammar are correctly used on this board.....
