I've only ever bought one shirt in the Ashley era, that was the neon yellow away kit we had in 2011/2012 season with Virgin Money on the front....quite liked that one albeit the quality wasn't much to write home about. I go to a european league game once a year with a group of lads for a weekend away so I normally buy a top for the team that we're going to watch, normally a retro one off of years gone by (as long as it's not red and white of course). Got a nice little collection building up.
Nobody will pay what he wants and even if they did we would still be **** unless they spent about 500 million on players . Just accept were a smaller club than you think .
I'm not talking about trying to compete with Man City (Saudi Arabia) I'm talking about Ashley letting the Manager spend the money the club creates. Currently the profits have been spent buying Debenhams.

Another aussie who just doesn't get it? Coincidence? I will not be at any games, will not be buying any merch, won't watch sky/btsports, buy anything from ANY of MA's tat shops etc. haven't since the last relegation. Until Ashley is gone I will not be back.
