I believe that the bbc are still quoting the guardian but no evidence has been released so who knows what went on, but i am sure something did.
I’d say the important thing is the truth is known. The police coming out and deciding there was no transgression, doesn’t necessarily fill me with confidence there wasn’t. This person is very likely to be our contry’s Leader.
That’s one of the important things. You might argue that, in the interests of a free press, it’s equally important that there was no official cover up by the authorities. Probably just a coincidence that the police denied all knowledge until presented with the registration numbers of their own vehicles - the vehicles they didn’t seem to know had attended.
Amen. Especially seeing as they’ve already tried to deny they even got called out. As a general point, just because the police force say something doesn’t mean it’s true.
That applies to a lot of people including politicians, football managers, stuff on the Internet and many more.
I think, I think I am. Therefore I am. I think. Incidentally, Elon Musk has long made a small, if interesting postulation that we all live in a simulation. If you remove the initial response of , 'oh don't be so stupid' and think about it, there's a half-decent chance he could be right. That would blur reality, and therefore truth as we know it, somewhat.
I appreciate that some people feel they should know all the personal details purtaining to an argument that took place between Boris and his girlfriend in a private residence. I on the other hand think that a: it's not important and b: none of my goddamn business. The neighbours have an axe to grind, have history with Bojo and partner and IMHO have done this with malicious intent, and I very much doubt that this domestic incident merited a police call out in the first place, let alone some kind of public washing of dirty laundry. I'm no fan of Boris, I think he's an unprincipled oaf, but the current smear campaign strikes me as petty and puerile. I'd be ashamed to publicly pretend that I actually cared about what a couple were arguing about, regardless of who a couple were.
I feel Boris has set himself up to be smeared such is his arrogance. If at the end of the day, Hunt emerges as the new leader, then the smearing will have proved a point, and Johnson can then enjoy a far more rewarding career in show business, broadcasting and writing.
