How many supporters actually get to every home game ? (and don't gift their pass/membership to others if they can't make a game).
What's the saving by getting a membership as opposed to the equivalent (23 home games) walk-in cost ?

The match day prices haven't been announced yet, but it will be a significant difference, it's £36 a month for the membership and it's likely to be up to £24-30 for a single game ticket.

Have they just worked out that if you start paying Aug 1st and the cancel end of Mar with the two months notice that gets you to the end of the season, 10 months.

Can't remember what was the charge to renew after cancelling (25 quid ? ) it could be that there is a small chance to save a few quid by paying 10 months, cancelling then renewing at the start of the next season.
I think if you tried to rejoin within twelve months of being a member you had to pay three months penalty to stop this happening

The club has this morning emailed me (and presumably all other current membership holders) clarifying in (relatively) plain English the changes that have been made to the scheme. A link is provided to a (relatively) plain English explanation of the notice period changes - which ONLY apply to NEW memberships commenced from 1 July 2019. Those new members commit to a 12 month term, after which two months’ notice of termination is required. For existing members, there is no 12 month commitment, the previous two month notice period remains.

I have to say this is a common sense approach to me, fans are still conditioned to think they are committing for a full season when they take out a membership and that has now been written into the terms and conditions for new members.

It has been dealt with appallingly though, sneaked in underhandedly amongst other changes to the scheme and only now communicated properly to fans. That someone is actually employed to manage communications is remarkable enough based on this evidence - that this individual is a fully grown human being is even more incredible.

Anyone been to change seats from North stand to E1-E3?????? or existing East standers shuffling up...... What's the availability looking like if they showed the seat plan when serving you....

It's about their only decent idea, the membership scheme. Saves you messing about filling in forms every year !

Did it over the phone
No seating plan online so had to remember original seats
Was very easy...but...they said they’d confirm by letter and I haven’t had anything which is a little concerning so might ring to double check on Monday

I'm looking forward to next season, two of us coming back after the reintroduction of concessions and name on club badge. Still got the odious toads in charge, and the season could be a complete disaster, but we'll be cheering the team on in the great new kits, and we will have our Saturdays back, pub....city.....pub....takeaway......Sunday Ibuprofen for breakfast..

It's a Wonderful Life

And this is why you shouldn't let anyone affect you and stop you doing the things you love to do.
