.... is the BBC. Jo Brand gets nothing for suggesting throwing battery acid at Nigel Farage. Unbelievable.
You could say "things often joked in jest!..." quite a few don't condemn it … as it was part of a humourous event … would it had been different if it had been against a regime and she said "just go in and nuke them!"
Danny Baker accused the BBC of throwing him “under a bus” after he was sacked for a tweet comparing the royal baby to a chimp. The broadcaster was dismissed from his Saturday morning show on Radio 5 Live for what the station described as a serious error of judgment. ......and this guy got the sack, I think they are turning into a left wing, feminist, man hating, green, socialist, self serving bunch of know it all time wasters. I couldn't agree with you more.
In this day in age with so many acid attacks, it's beyond belief she's getting away with it...I heard it played on Nick Ferrari show....wasn't even said in jest and not at all funny......what ever you political preferences or hates, it was pure wrong.................piss rather than acid would have better IMO.
It was clearly said in jest. It was said at a comedy event. People laughed at the joke at the event. The ability to make jokes in bad taste is a freedom. It does highlight how reactionary people have become. Society is losing its collective grip on reality. Everything is becoming offensive. Are the BBC Left wing and biased? Very.
I'm not normally a reactionary type of person, in fact I don'r take offence with most things...I also think there are too many do gooders & snowflakes that has turned this country into a ball of cotton wool.......but Jo Brands so say funny comment to throw battery acid over someone is not really comedy and crosses the line for some nutter to act on her humour and think it's ok.......not sure the person who gets attacked would think "oh well it's all for the joke". IMO a step too far is inciting violence.
Spot on there are some right nut cases out there that would literally take that as what a good idea. Furking crazy the woman saying that,Crossed the line.
It’s the snowflakes and do gooders that I’m concerned about when Brexit happens. This is the part I’m trying to say when we are not no where near the same generation that had to pull together after the war.
I agree to a point RoD but many of the do gooders and snowflakes seem to be more mid age of what I see & hear. I believe.. we do still have very good young people and some very brave ones too.. plenty in the forces doing a great job and to be proud of..
I had to go on a bullying and harassment talk in work, when they listed things I couldn’t say anymore I may as well handed my keys and laptop in then.
No I’m not a bully. I just wind people up and not very PC about it. Lucky enough people let me get away with it.
