Hello, team. Am only putting this up as ‘Sporting Life’ are currently predicting a big price re this one – 25/1. The recommendation comes from yesterday’s ‘Weekender’ and all words are there’s not mine. An unraced 2YO debuts tomorrow evening monikered Krishmaya (6.35 Goodwood) who the stable have ‘high hopes’ for and has been doing some ‘pleasing homework’. She is also ‘the trainer’s horse to follow this season’. Furthermore, she has the lineage to back this up being a half-sister to Magical Wish (dual winner and now rated 91). Whether any of this means that she will be ready to win on debut over the unusual Goodwood gradients is anyone’s guess but Krishmaya may be one to look out for tomorrow and beyond, people. Again let me state these are words from the ‘Weekender’ and not given to me by (i) some shady individual loitering outside a training establishment with a clapped out old bicycle and wearing 2nd hand jodhpurs or (ii) via a text from the owner. Good luck all.
A little bit after timing from me, although the golf is still ongoing, but here's my picks for Pebble Beach... Fran Molinari @ 40/1 - currently -3, 8th Shane Lowry @ 40/1 - currently +4, 116th Gary Woodland @ 66/1 - currently -3, 8th Kevin Na @ 80/1 - currently +1, 58th Matthew Fitzpatrick @ 100/1 - currently -2, 16th Rose has made a great start, Koepka only a few back, Rory threatening again (though I think the course we get him eventually...) and loads in with a chance. Brewing up to be a good watch...
The 3rd fave is now a non-runner so down to a best priced 12/1. This withdrawl makes Krishmaya now the only unraced filly in the line-up. There has been no real movement, either way, re Krishmaya in the market and she is currently quite solid as the 4th fav. Those bookie chappies, though, see the heat solely as a 2 horse race going 10/11 Diva Kareem, 2/1 Decora, 15/2 Bar.
I like one in the 6:05 at Goodwood. Edmond Dantes 9/2. Favourite is on a hatrick which usually puts me off a horse, they don't often land 3 on the bounce so worth taking on. And although not a good way of gambling by picking horses by their names, my pick is named after the lead character in an absolute classic book.
Three at York to pass the day... 2:20 - Mikmak @ 8/1 2:55 - Sped Dating @ 10/1 3:30 - Stoney Lane @ 12/1 e/w singles n doubles...
hi folks! york,2 20: a widen open contest, and plenty of chances, but ADDIS ABABA makes a lot of appeal as an unexposed handicapper, and his form this season is rock-solid,because every time he came second so far,the winner won next time out.he also seems quite versatile regarding grounds,so good chance, that he ll run a big race today. sandown,2 35: not much form to go on here, but i am a firm believer in experience,so so VISIBLE CHARM is taken to better his debut second here today.and alone that form entitles him to deep respect,as the winner could be very useful..
york 3 30 another wide-open race, and RIGHT ACTION is only a very tentative vote, but hes 2-2 under de sousa, and has got some solid form in the book.so,has as good a chance as any here..
york,4 05: GANTON STAKES a small but select field.OH THIS IS US is a likeable sort, who always runs his race, which cannot be said of some others here, who arrive with some question marks hanging over them.i like him a lot,and hes bound to go well again.
aintree,7 30: although NAYATI couldnt back up his win from two starts back last time out,he was far from disgraced at kelso, even more so,as he endured a troubled passage in the straight,so he might have been even closer at the finish.good chance in an open race..
