We should introduce euthanasia for anyone over 70. We wouldn't then be wasting the world's resources on feeding clothing and housing the poor. The money saved would enable young people to have latest smartphone, flatscreen TV, gameboy, and to get pissed every night. Let us be honest young people could have a fun time with all the money we currently waste keeping old folks comfortable in their dotage. The Eskimos had it right, push the old out to die of cold or to be eaten by a polar bear.
I'll answer that in 3 parts
1. I said there were a lot of remainers "who post on this thread"
1a. That's because they happen to be very well informed. I learn stuff here
2. There really were a lot of Remainers, over 16 million, you may even know one
3. No-one really knew what they were voting for ie. What does Leave really mean?
3a. Even a lot of Remainers didn't know what Leave meant but at least they didn't vote for an undefined change
4. Now we know more, how would the country vote if asked again?
5. If the job's wrong it doesn't matter how well you do it, you're better off doing the right job less well
6. We are a Parliamentary democracy and the majority of Parliament are Remainers although you'd struggle to believe it the way the Tories are licking the electorates arses. That's the thing with a referendum, its actually advisory in a Parliamentary Democracy and can't be binding
7. I can't count

I still stick to my prediction that he will be appearing on the next series of "Get me out of here," and that at the last moment, a majority of the Tory membership will vote for the other candidate, probably Hunt. And with that, his political career will be over.

If all the oldies refuse to pay for their tv licence, it is highly unlikely that they would be penalised, especially by imprisonment, as they would lose the right to vote.
That would massively reduce Tory support in one fell swoop, so I am sure the Tories will do what they can to save their own party.

I see Chuka has joined another club already, he's certainly a man of firm convictions. Someone commented on the beeb that he's the first politician to have cross party talks with himself.
I have said before that the only way he would become the PM, would be to move to the right.
One more move should do it.
Trump is in so much hot water at the moment. He's within a fraction of having impeachment proceedings starting against him. Thing is, it appears that the Democrats are stumbling over whether to do the right thing in principle or the strategic thing. I suspect that principle won't get a look-in. It's actually fascinating because they've got him by the balls yet they are petrified to squeeze, because whatever the outcome, it appears that the Republicans will not convict him in the Senate.
Have to say that the political debate in the USA is so much better than it is here. You can go to political programmes and find a dissection of every last nuance. We just talk about personalities here like which one is cuddlier than the other. And nobody mentions that what the Tories are apparently guaranteeing us by a certain date isn't wanted anymore, by the majority. But then we have people caving in just because they want it all to end. That's no way to behave. You'll end up with a ****tier future with that attitude. Get done what is right, then fall back onto the bed and have a rest.

I don't know who the hell is attacking the Tankers, of course I don't..........However is it a coincidence that since the Iranians said that if nobody will buy our oil then they won't be able to buy from anyone else either?? They made that statement and isn't this the second/third attack since they made it? Surely this can't just be a coincidence??? who else would have gained anything from it?
Edit.........Ship to ship missiles can travel over twenty miles in other words out of natural sight over a horizon so you wouldn't always see them coming unless you had the right equipment. Which to my knowledge no normal tanker has the need for.......so not necessarily a mine......
