Looks remarkably like Dean Windass volleying that goal in v Bristol City at Wembley on the side of Chanterlands Avenue railway bridge. Huge mural, not quite finished yet but very impressive none the less. About time too.
The guy started it this week. He was doing it yesterday as I passed under the bridge. It looks like it's "The Goal". Just hope that no **** defaces this fine work....as for Banksy...I've **** him.
Would love to see some pics if anyone is passing, either in progress or the finished article. Makes a change from all the graffiti left on the actual bridge itself over the years. Can’t they actually cover murals with an anti graffiti coating, I’m sure i read that Blundells had made one quite a few years ago.

Don't think this is a big issue tbh. Hull has had loads of murals done recently, none of the Hessle Road fishing ones or the Lil Biloca opposite Tigers Lair or the Jack Harrison t'other end of Chants have been graffiti'd over. Urban graffiti seems to be kept to the Bankside area around the Banksy.
Passed it this morning, thought it looked good, do like all this murals that have popped up the last year or two.

In the early 80s down Selby st they built a rugby player in the gable end brick work to signal to passengers arriving by rail that this was indeed a rugby town. Honestly kemps lovely pint but strong as. We finished the barrel off. Took it on the way there plum. On the way there Ron and left my car. I think it will get vandalized mate. FC will do Deano and city will do whoever the fcplayer is.
