SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 16/03/2019 : Rangers 1-1 Kilmarnock More of the stodgy Kilmarnock diet today, akin to stale porridge gone cold. Both teams must be fed up with the sight of each other, but there is no respite, there will be one more game to play after the split. No change in the gaps between 2nd, 3rd & 4th, but these damaging drawn games only give Celtic another opportunity to extend their lead, which could (and probably will) extend to 10 points tomorrow. Attendance : 49,527 (SSN) SPL matches, 16 & 17/03/2019 : Saturday 16th March Aberdeen 1-1 Livingston Hamilton Academical 1-0 Heart of Midlothian Hibernian 2-0 Motherwell Rangers 1-1 Kilmarnock St Johnstone v St Mirren - Postponed Sunday 17th March Dundee 0-1 Celtic
SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 31/03/2019 : Celtic v Rangers, KO 12:00 hours, SKY. 18/03/2019 : Get this fixture up now, despite the delay caused by the international break. This will be the 31st round of SPL matches. It will be make or break for Rangers if we are to have any chance of overtaking Celtic this Season, although the 10 point gap is probably insurmountable. The best Rangers can do over our remaining two games against Celtic is reduce the gap to 4 points, but we will have to rely on the Opposition dropping points elsewhere too. SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 31/03/2019 : Celtic v Rangers, KO 12:00 hours, SKY. 30/03/2019 : All the talk this week of Celtic Park being a 'Lion's Den' is amusing. Seeing that Rangers' badge is the Lion Rampant, tomorrow affords the opportunity for Rangers to turn the noun into a verb ! The results today see Aberdeen down to 4th and Kilmarnock up to 3rd, 6 points behind Rangers. SPL matches, 27 & 29-30-31/03/2019 : Wednesday 27th March St Johnstone 1-0 St Mirren Friday 29th March Livingston 1-2 Hibernian Saturday 30th March Heart of Midlothian 2-1 Aberdeen Kilmarnock 5-0 Hamilton Academical Motherwell 3-0 St Johnstone St Mirren 2-1 Dundee Sunday 31st March Celtic 12:00 Rangers - SKY

SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 31/03/2019 : Celtic 2-1 Rangers I did not bother with the stream but followed the game via my Twitter feed, SSN (TV) and the SSN live commentary. Both of Celtic's goals came from Rangers giving the ball away. That combined with Morelos falling for gamesmanship and getting sent off yet again, undermined Rangers' cause today. Ryan Kent's superb equaliser was not to be enough and Ryan Jack was guilty of an avoidable miss before Celtic scored their 2nd (and winning) goal. Attendance : 58,773 (SSN) A bit of good news today, from my 'diddy team' : Scarborough Athletic @safc Congratulations to our U19s! 9-1 winners in the County Cup Final against Redcar Newmarket. Enjoy the celebrations lads!
SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 03/04/2019 : Rangers v Heart of Midlothian, KO 19:45 hours. 01/04/2019 : Consolidation of 2nd place must be the aim for Rangers now, as any realistic chance of overtaking Celtic this Season went with the defeat yesterday. SPL matches, 03/04/2019 : Wednesday 3rd April Aberdeen 19:45 Motherwell Hibernian 19:45 Kilmarnock Livingston 19:45 Hamilton Academical Rangers 19:45 Heart of Midlothian St Johnstone 19:45 Dundee St Mirren 19:45 Celtic - BT Sport
SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 03/04/2019 : Rangers 3-0 Heart of Midlothian I totally forgot about the football tonight, due to following the Brexit debates in Parliament ! After a fruitless March with WDL of 0-3-2, it is good to see Rangers back to winning ways again, about time too ! Attendance : 49,702 (SSN) SPL matches, 03/04/2019 : Wednesday 3rd April Aberdeen 3-1 Motherwell Hibernian 0-0 Kilmarnock Livingston 2-0 Hamilton Academical Rangers 3-0 Heart of Midlothian St Johnstone 2-0 Dundee St Mirren 0-2 Celtic
SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 07/04/2019 : Motherwell v Rangers, KO 12:30 hours, SKY. 04/04/2019 : The news today is that SG has been 'offered' a one game touchline ban for 'comments made to the referee' post-match (at Celtic). I have no idea if that will affect this game, we will have to wait and see. For the record, this is the 33rd match and the last before the split. The five post-split fixtures have not been made yet. SPL matches, 06-07/04/2019 : Saturday 6th April Celtic 15:00 Livingston Dundee 15:00 Aberdeen Hamilton Academical 15:00 St Mirren Heart of Midlothian 12:30 Hibernian - BT Sport Kilmarnock 15:00 St Johnstone Sunday 7th April Motherwell 12:30 Rangers - SKY

SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 07/04/2019 : Motherwell 0-3 Rangers I missed the first half and had to play catch-up via my Twitter feed and the SSN live commentary. A hat-trick for Scott Arfield today and Jermaine Defoe epitomised selfless professionalism with his assist for Arfield's 3rd goal. This win leaves Rangers 8 points ahead of Kilmarnock and Aberdeen and 11 points behind Celtic. Attendance : No data (SSN) These are Rangers' post-split fixtures. Sat 20 Apr 12:00 SPFL1 (SPL) 34 . SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 20/04/2019 : Heart of Midlothian v Rangers, KO 12:00 hours, SKY. 14/04/2019 : This is the first of the 5 post-split matches. Kilmarnock and Aberdeen play each other, so a win on Saturday will put Rangers 11 points clear of one, or 10 points clear of both if they draw their match. A win for Hibernian on Sunday would make for a useful Easter. SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 20/04/2019 : Heart of Midlothian 1-3 Rangers That was a comfortable enough win, Rangers were totally dominant throughout. Pending the remaining games today, this win puts Rangers 11 points ahead of Kilmarnock (3rd) and 8 points behind Celtic, which means the Opposition cannot clinch the Title tomorrow. Attendance : 18,212 (SSN) SPL matches, 20 & 21/04/2019 : Saturday 20th April Hamilton Academical 1-1 Motherwell Heart of Midlothian 1-3 Rangers Kilmarnock 0-1 Aberdeen - Aberdeen now 3rd, 8 points behind Rangers. SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 28/04/2019 : Rangers v Aberdeen, KO 15:00 hours, SKY. 22/04/2019 : Rangers have played Aberdeen 6 times this Season, with only one win to show for it. Let the 7th match see a 2nd victory for Rangers, which would extend the gap in our favour to 11 points and ensure 2nd place. Combine that with the unlikely event of a Kilmarnock win on Saturday and the gap to Celtic would reduce to 6 points. SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 28/04/2019 : Rangers 2-0 Aberdeen This match was preceded by a minutes applause for Billy McNeill, quite right too. In the game two penalties, both scored by Tavernier, ensured Rangers' 2nd win over Aberdeen this Season, which confirmed 2nd place. Although Rangers can now only equal Celtic's total of 81 points, the gap being 9 points, the Title race is not yet run. It is highly unlikely, but there could yet be change at the top.
