Yeah I get that, they are not too fond of me already as I'm quite blunt and tend to speak my mind. I don't really care but feel that I need to be a bit nicer now that I'm officially in charge.
You may as well be an utter **** to them. If you're nice to them they'll still hate you but they'll think you're a soft touch. Give them hell. Start off by randomly firing the one you dislike the most. Do it in front of everyone and look like you're really enjoying it. If possible throw him or her out of a window.
If you do that then they'll just walk all over you. If they already think you're a bit of a **** then just play the ****.
I was going to be myself but the boss sort of hinted that he doesn't want people running to him every 5 mins because of me so I have to box clever a bit. This might be a laugh. The people I'll be managing are a right bunch as well, moaning ****ers I already tell them to wind it in when we have meetings.
Funny thing is I told a girl who was moaning last week that she's "****ing lucky I'm not your boss" now I am.
We might need a new #bullying ambassador if he's gonna start being a **** to all his staff. ****ing #bully
In hospital evening visiting ... op seems to have gone well but they will be keeping her in overnight ... she's had codeine so pain has subsided ... will grab a takeaway and bottle of wine on way home ... thank **** that's all over.
