My biggest issue is he doesn't have pace, which is not his fault. At least three times we broke with pace in the second half and we put great balls across the box for a striker to get onto but he didn't have the pace to get onto them. Not his fault. He has never had it and made a good career.

I think most people's frustrations come from the fact Campbell has had a far better season and should be in the team. Also his insistence on refusing to jump. He backs in and wins free kicks and throw ins but he also backs in and falls on his arse. Nothing wrong with backing in but don't do it every single time for 90 minutes.

Lots of people hate him some people then defend him and claim he is class. Like most things the true answer is somewhere in the middle where he is a decent option for us but shouldn't be anywhere near being our number 1 striker.

Martin playing has probably allowed Grosicki and Bowen more freedom to express themselves.

I don't disagree. Martin clearly has strengths our other strikers don't but Campbell is far more of a goal threat in my eyes which is vital.

We need someone like him but we also need someone like Campbell.

If only nige had the inside knowledge posters on here have on how martin is doing and how fit Campbell is to play and how brilliant Dicko is.

Isn't it really strange he is playing Evandro behind the strikers rather that holding midfield role you kept suggesting?

Pretty sure people can disagree with their manager. The same way you did. But when it's not you it's wrong, but when it's you it's right.

Just a point on the target man thing. People seem to me, to insist every big lad up front is a hold up/target man and every smaller striker isn't capable of that.

People on here used to say Abel H couldn't hold the ball up, but he was actually very good at it.
