Utterly devastating news. RIP Burly. You were a great man and a great poster. There will be plenty of Guinness and wedding cake up in heaven for you!
Am actually fighting back the tears here at work reading this. Mrs Burly - I met Mr Burly only the once (wish it was more) but spoke a few times on the phone and in private messages regularly when us mods had important stuff to partake in - My thoughts are with you and his entire family. Always one of my favourite posters on here and we look forward to meeting you gooners in a few years. I'll be raising a glass for him tonight before the match and be part of the get-together (all being well) in February. He will be missed by all of us but we won't let his life go without giving him a send off he deserves.
Don't venture on your boards much lads. Just wanted to give condolences to all that knew the great fella we called burly. Never met the man but felt like I knew him just from chatting on the premier league board. Truly was a nice fella.
