The Mail have opined that the club have established a further credit facility of £100m. It's not backed up in the slightest (natch!). However, it is distinctly possible in the circumstances..

Between having to return season ticket and corporate hospitality income, renting Wembley at premium rates, pushing on with the external works beyond the original intentions, delays due to sub-standard wiring (even though they may compensated later) and likely overruns, it would be surprising if the project was still within budget right now. In fact DL has said that there will be additional costs in last week's THST meeting..
In such circumstances, the club would likely to arrange sufficient credit to see them through the worst of possible outcomes, so £100m maybe more than is actually required. This alleged extra borrowing, at this time, suggests that earlier claims of massive cost escalation were fictitious, as there has been no sniff of additional borrowing previously, to meet alleged cost escalation that The Mail have been claiming all year.
Equally, it's just possible that this alleged additional borrowing might be to spend on transfers in advance of January............................
