Can't be unhappy with a point... unfortunately. Did Asoro beat his man once? Looked lethargic as well, surely Dyer would have been better.
I decided not to go today - my father passed away during this past week. How did we play? Did we deserve to win?
Up in the playoffs is a consolation i suppose but we must win our home games. With Leeds Dropping 2 points and boro not winning it was a golden opportunity to gain on these sides...We are lacking a good striker though and can't wait to see Bony on the pitch to see how he does as i have that inkling this team might just suit his style of football....Still it's another point in the bag but disappointed it's not 3...
The prospect of seeing double European Champions Nottingham Forest at the Liberty promised to be one of the highlights of the season. Instead I will be visiting the stadium tomorrow morning to help clear the stench of stale urine left by one of the most unimpressive displays of football I have seen at any level. In fact it wasn’t football, it was Anti-Football and they excelled at it. Forest could have been two up as early as the fourth minute but failed to take their chances. They were the superior team and could have won this game comfortably had they concentrated on playing football. Instead they got so wrapped up on committing foul after foul, they forgot what they were supposed to do – score goals. They were ably abetted by Mr Scott Duncan. Mr Duncan was the man dressed in a black outfit running around on the pitch. He was impersonating a professional football referee. Unable to identify a foul, he appeared unable to find his yellow card and I’m pretty certain did not even have a red card in his pocket. This man should be sacked immediately. The game disintegrated into a shambles with the final whistle being the highlight. What of the Swans? Lightweight and trying to play football they were kicked off the park. Two forced substitutions at half time meant we ended the game as a ragged outfit. Our depleted squad dragged itself to a point. The only two positives from a dreary afternoon were the match point and a correct 0-0 score prediction. Now where’s that air freshener…………………..
