Pork shoulder (or “butt”) in a slow smoker or slow cooker. It’s as tender and moist as anything.

Don’t like it in a slow cooker. Would rather do it in an oven on a low temp for 4-6 hours dependant on size.

Some in a smoker is excellent.

The best meat I have had in no particular order are ostrich, lobster and swordfish - I am rather adventurous when I go out to eat and like trying new things.

To cook for myself I like pork - I have tried different cuts of pork and tbh can't really tell the difference a la beef.

    Duck in a roast dinner?

I like duck but not as a roast dinner.

    Oddly I’ve never had goose.

With you all the way until salad. With a shepherd's pie. That is insanity.

Lamb is the King for me, with a nice Mint Sauce.

Pork and beef are good if cooked properly.
Pork has to be juicy, with nice crackling, and beef HAS to be pink, there is nothing worse than overcooked beef!!

Chicken is meh....its chicken, you can sass it up anyway you want but its ****ing chicken.
I find people who say their favourite roast dinner meat is chicken, are the same people who eat every meal with ounces of Ketchup, and whose diets consist of McCain Oven Chips or Smiley potato faces with baked beans and a nice LIDL frozen pizza <laugh>

To be fair, that's just bollocks. What chicken have you been eating that needs to be sassed up when roasted? Buy some quality.

A good quality chicken, roasted, is tasty as ****.
Admittedly it's more of a staple than the others in that it's probably the cheapest (if you buy ****, factory produced, steroid pumped bargain birds) but it pisses over turkey and pork.

The type of people who eat ketchup, oven chips, smiley faces, Lidl pizza and such probably do eat mass produced cheap chicken because they haven't got a pot to piss in and it's cheap.

You sound like Jamie Oliver for **** sake.

If you haven't tried them. Some off those roast in the bag chickens are superb.

But be careful, I may have been kicking **** out off them across a warehouse floor..

Might put some off you off, if you saw how your food gets booted about.

I eat boring chicken breast, free range, trim off the disgusting mini-fillet and chuck it in the bin or cook it for the dog. Steaks are ok if they don't come served with a heart stopping slither of fat like a sirloin.

I order fish 9/10 times when I eat out but I don't cook fish at home cos it stinks, so I eat a lot of boring chicken in the house.
