Why can't these fortunate,talented sportsmen
just except the honoured positions they
enjoy and behave accordingly.
Millions of people would love to have their
life styles,wealth,fan adulation etc.

Just because they are exceptional in their sporting field doesn't guarantee that they will not be a nobhead. Generally you expect these stories periodically from footballers more because traditionally their has been a high proportion of working class, even non-working class thickos, but these seem to be drying up, presumably as clubs are maybe more proactive to keep them professional. These are kids or young men and just a reflection on society as a whole. I might never have been fighty in my youth, but I knew several lads who were. What ever walk of life you sadly get a proportion of people with problems. I doubt anyone is born violent, they have grown up in circumstances that have elevated the possibility. The boozing in cricket also won't help, its becoming less prevalent in both footballers and even Rugby slowly as professionalism really bites but there always still even with professionalism seems to be an undercurrent of it in Cricket, my Mrs would say its because they are barely sportsmen and most mearly have to stand around for most of the day. Maybe she has a point, but I wouldn't want to be facing Mitchell Starc at full pelt without a hangover, let alone with my brain thumping.

Harsh decision to leave Curran out to crowbar Stokes back in. Curran has acquitted himself really well in the first two tests and doesn't deserve this treatment imho.
They should have dropped Buttler instead?

Hard to believe - I was there on holiday in Feb 2014.
At least 164 people have died in monsoon floods in India's southern state of Kerala, the worst in almost a century. Rescuers battled torrential rains to save residents, with nearly 223,000 left homeless.
The state government said many of those who died were crushed under debris caused by landslides.
With more rains predicted and a red alert in place, the main airport has reportedly been shut until 26 August.

I'd have kept Stokes as sub-fielder for this test, then reintegrated him.
Seems very unfair for anybody to be dropped when that side is functioning pretty well. Not good for morale if, no matter how well you play, Stokes will replace you
Totally agree about Buttler, but Rob Key would be angry. Wants Buttler as keeper, but finally not at the expense of Bairstow as a batsman.
Stokes doing sod all in this test.

SaxonAir are handling the famous RAF aerobatics team at Norwich Airport as the team makes its way to and from the Essex airshow.
The planes are set to arrive at Norwich Airport at 12.30pm on Thursday August 23 before departing for the air show at 2.46pm.
The planes will return to Norwich Airport at 3.35pm.
On Friday August 24 the Red Arrows will depart Norwich airport at 12.46pm for the second day of the air show.

I spent a day with them with a marching band that I was involved with up in Lincoln. Our band won the all-England championship in Redcar and one of the prizes was a day at RAF Scampton with the Red Arrows. Brilliant experience

worked with the Red Arrows when I was in the RAF doing the public address for the air shows, then lived about 12 miles away from Scampton so was able to watch them training Just awesome.
