Ok. I'll spell it out for you Josh. St Etienne spent a number of seasons in French 2nd Div, they have been battling relegation since. They don't have loads of cash and are desperate for Champs Lge football to boost their coffers. They can't sign proven, top International stars the way clubs like Lille, Monaco and PSG can, that is why they are trawling the Championship for players with potential. Gradel isn't going there as a star, he's going as a hot prospect....forget all this £25k nonsense.

OKay that may be true what you've said. I dont know what clubs can and cant afford so i just want to know how you do. They may have been playing around with relegation. I dont know the history of St. Etienne to be brutally honest but then you dont know what the average wage is in the french league do you? They could get alot more TV money because they are in the top french league or they coulda just sold a player for a substantial amount or... he coulda taken a pay cut to return back to his roots.

All of these assumptions are made by people who have no idea in truth

but it's not being spent on wages or transfer fees its ending up in a black hole in Monaco

Leeds Utd is set up perfectly as a vehicle to move money from our pockets to his....many examples of this but here's a couple....Radio Aire and BBC are told that in order to broadcast commentary of Leeds games they must pay £500k p.a. yet Leeds pay Yorkshire Radio for the same service, why?

Leeds pay for the building of the Pavillion yet it is actually set up as a seperate company so any profits are kept seperate from the LUFC books, Why?

My good friend is a QS and while not having access to the detailed plans of the refurbishment of the East Stand based on the square footage and nature of the work the price banded about is massively too high - where's the £7.5m going?

There are many more examples, here are 3 dont be naive Bates is raping our club and telling us that he saved it

i disagree with you. I can understand people that dont like where bates is spending the money but he is not just pocketing it. These are more arguments that the anti-bates crew use to try and bring idiots into the opinion that bates is ****

but the above is fact - check companies house re the pavillion, see Bates' own quotes about radio aire and the BBC then check the list of creditors at the CVA, yorkshire radio are there - as for my QS mate hey he's the expert but i wouldn't have a clue to be honest, i trust his judgement as it's what he does for a living

if you are so blind that you cant see what is right there in front of you then i see little point in discussing this further with you as you'll always allow yourself to be ripped off and blindly led - oh and by the way can you please pm me your bank account details? there's a good lad

I cant stand the old ****, something fishy is going on at that club and if chose to believe the ****e that is published from the club, that’s your decision and your choice. BUT don’t accuse people of being blinded by this and ****ing that, and call them idiots.

Its not classy, makes you look petty and like a dickhead tbh. :)

Gradel's said it himself. If it was a load of ****e Max would have been perfectly free to come out and say so. I'm getting ****ing sick of everything that happens being spun into some kind of Bates conspiracy.

BTW St Etienne have been after the player for weeks and it happens the day before deadline closing day. That’s what I don’t agree with and dont think is right. That’s why I think theres something dodgy but treating people with such contempt as you are makes me think you’re a twat :D

If he wanted to go, then he wants to go. We’ve made money out of him that probably wont be put back in for transfers etc and may well disappear but rather than lose him for free, I’d rather make some money from him IF I knew it was going back into the club. And I just don’t think it will be.

Fair enough, but I'd quite like you to point out where I called anyone an idiot. I've been accused enough time of mindless optimism etc. etc. to feel entitled to say I think people are letting their hatred of Bates, for whatever reason, get in the way of what we actually know about the situation. If we don't get a replacement or the money doesn't seem to come back into the team I'll be pretty pissed off aswell but none of us knows what's going to happen.
 
Simon is either Ken Bates or works for the club.
