It would be a gamble to sign Ings because it’s not just the fee, but wages as well. If he was fit and had his same attributes, yes sign him. If not, best leave.

Rondon never made it into double figures for WBA - despite almost always starting. Even Long has managed that once for us!

People keep mentioning him because he's got the attributes we're missing, powerful centre forward who can hold the ball up, works hard and can shoot. Ok he played in a shocking West Brom team but he's a decent player.

I have a number of Baggies ST friends up here and they, if I put it politely, don't rate him at all.
His ability is without question but his attitude and commitment is.

The other way round might be preferable - given that pace is Targett's o vious weakness.

For me Toby and Vvd made him look better than he was. No doubt he was good but not that good. Any way......old news.

We did ok out of Jose, bought for £1m got his prime years and sold him for £8m just before his decline.
