Went to the England game the other night and decided to stay back 10 mins after full time to let the crowds disperse. Whilst waiting the team came back out for a cool down i managed to get Pickfords attention and ask him if he could come over and sign the younguns autograph book he said he couldn't as his hands were all strapped and his gloves were on and he had to do a cool down and was really sorry. I said no worries I understand good luck for the world cup. My little lad burst into tears as we started walking away. Then all I heard was pickford shout 2 minutes. He ran off down the tunnel and returned 2 minutes later to give my lad a pair of his gloves never have I seen such a big smile than that of my lads. What a top bloke he is, i shook his hand had a quick 30 second chat he give my lad a high 5 and off he went to cool down. That's a memory that will stick with him forever.
Shear class that lad. Shows how grounded he is. Got a feeling he's going to be one of the standout performers for England in the World Cup. Good luck Jordan Pickford!
Well done Jordon and you for spending your money to go and watch a meaningless friendly. I hope Jordon has a brilliant World Cup as for England I lost interest in them in the SKP era.

He strikes me as the type of kid who will play for top teams but would want to finish his career at his home town club....maybe wishful thinking on my part
Nice story, hope he cements his place as Englands no.1 and has the other Jordan for company along the way. Only watch Internationals when our players, usually ex-players are involved, except the finals of course, haven't missed many games since Pele made his appearance in Sweden a year or two ago.
