Mrs, been a **** year but can see a new horizon Anyway that OP was just saying why I was away. Not going to dwell on it, onwards and upwards. Can't believe I actually missed this place lol
Yes mate, got complete remission almost 4 months ago. What people don't always realise is that physically you can mend, but it's the psychological, emotional impact that takes longer. Still dealing with that. Her parents are a couple of fcking tards though and I wish they'd fck off.
Nice to see you back Trebs...sorry to hear about your wife...hope everything works out brother. I knew you'd miss me
The sun is out, a Southampton academy player gapes Liverpool in the CL final and Treble is back. What a time to be alive.
On a more general point, firstly diagnosis is the biggest hurdle. She was misdiagnosed for 2 months with a compressed nerve. Then after diagnosis you have to push push push for things to get done. I don't blame the consultants and nurses, they're working under extreme pressures under difficult circumstances with little funding. And a special mention to The Christie, it scares the fck out of me what it must be like in a less specialist hospital if you live somewhere without a place like that near you. There but for the grace of God as they say...
Sorry to hear about your Mrs mate. Nasty stuff and like you say it's the emotional and psychological that takes time Genuinely happy for you that things are on the up mate
Welcome back. Glad to hear your missus is on the mend. Can only imagine the stress you have all been through. God bless and here's to a happy healthy future mate
