nothing's over in either tie.

They were poor enough to show why I think we would have better chance with them.
Bayern play a style that is more familiar to us, but I think our front three would have a lot of fun with Real's defence.
The trouble with Real is Ronaldo - he can do **** all all game then score a last minute pen and heroically "save" them again.

that keeper yeah... Ramos is a liability for sure

real were clinical tonight.

I'd rather a side who is getting on who can't cope with our press than real scoring their only blasted chance

I'd rather play Real Madrid but had a feeling for a while that we'd made the final and lose to Real :(

How have Madrid won 3 CL titles with this keeper? Every time I watch him he throws at least one in.

Dived the wrong way for Bayern’s goal today and fumble another which could have cost them.

Madeid is shoukd just throw £70m at either De Gea, Oblak or Allison and be done with it.

Wenger still crying that he doesn't really want to go and it's all the horrible fans' fault

Have some dignity FFS

Also, everyone stopped hating him once he said he was leaving.

It's like when you have someone in your place you don't want there, you sit there silent, hoping they get the message, and only get chatty with them as you show them to the door.

There were more Wenger articles at [HASHTAG]#salford[/HASHTAG] than when City won the league, and they read like eulogies <laugh>

Bayern have been in slow decline for years, don't take their defeat as some great Real victory. bayern literally have no competition in the Bundes.. none. Madrid lost 5 games in La Liga this season n drew 8 too, you think madrid aren't hoping Roma knock us out? they are..

It's not just their fans that are scumbags, two former Roma players giving the LFC club badge the middle finger.

Imagine the outcry and consequences for our supporters travelling to Rome if a couple of our former players were caught doing the same to their club badge.<yikes>

TBH with no idea of context they could just be having a laugh

IMO it's not like Herrera spitting on the Man City badge where he's exactly the kind of person who would mean that

Former Roma players apologise after making obsence gesture at Liverpool badge

Two former Roma players have apologised after being photographed making an obscene gesture in front of Liverpool's club crest at Anfield.
The image, which has since been deleted, was shared by Roberto's daughter, Roberta, on social media ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, which Liverpool won 5-2.
A contrite Conti said: “A private moment was made public without being aware of it, turning it into an inappropriate gesture of which I feel the I need to apologize.

“I have been in the football world for a lifetime and in the last 25 years I have tried to convey my values to all the guys with whom I found myself working, starting from respect for my opponent.

“I've never offend any club, let alone a team as glorious as Liverpool. My respect for an opponent who over the years I have always faced with loyalty is out of the question.”
Pruzzo said: “If someone has been offended then we apologise.”

Back in 1984, Pruzzo scored Roma's goal during normal time in the 1-1 draw while Conti missed a penalty in the shoot-out, which Liverpool won 4-2.

Conti, who is Roma's youth director, and Pruzzo were both at Anfield working as pundits for Italian television.

Roberto Pruzzo and Bruno Conti, who were part of the Roma team beaten by Liverpool in the 1984 European Cup, were snapped raising their middle finger towards the badge.
