This thread is brilliant Thanks for the constant reminder that football can be fun. Really pleased for you having a successful season too Mind you did you just say that the club are paying for the ground upgrades like extra seating even though the ground is owned by the Council?! Surely not...that would be like building an extension on a council house!! A really well run club would never do that........
Pleased to see you still had finger nails before the last game Filey (unlike the way City would have you hanging) ... your passion for both City and Borough shine through. Lets hope we're both on the UP!
Thanks for posting the video... Cant help wondering about the football pitch, crown green bowling, cricket pitch in the shots to the right of the left goal..!!! I'd hate to bet playing up that hill....!!!!
not sure if it's an illusion of the camera or if the pitch is actually slanted what are the rules for a slanted pitch, what's to stop us from making the kc on a 10 degree slant please log in to view this image
Thanks Mr Stanley Your a star The ground at Colne has quite a slope to it. Scarborough have one of those 3g pitches , I think that's what it's called I had hoped to go to colne but didn't work out as I actually tipped my 4 mile an hour noddy scooter up on a kerb on hill Ouch bruised arse ...lol ( idiot ) I will be going on Tuesday v Glossop and on Saturday v Osset Albion Standing is what does it for me and being able to stand were you want with people you know Like it use to be at Boothferry Park That video clip shows the colne fans all in one corner behind goal stood a few foot from Scarborough fans In the league above , evo stik premier Scarborough and South Shields have twice the support of everyone else so should both do well money wise If I pay £25 a month I can become a part owner of the club and have a vote on everything effecting the club Anyway thanks again Stanley for posting video.
Not sure on the rules about the slant on the pitch, but I don't think you can have a copse in one half. If that slope were allowed I think the ball would spend more time in water than on the pitch.

o yes Mr Cambridge Tiger. Got my ticket 2 weeks ago . Only missed 2 home games this season. Will be a great day in the shed end.
Concessions only work with a longer name. If they were to shorten their name from “Scarborough Athletic FC” to simply “Scarborough Athletic Sea-Dogs FC” then concessions would have to go.
First goal was Michael Coulson This season he has scored 33 goals in the league . 9 goals in cup games.
