Plus the closure of the upper west stand. Mind you, even filling the lower section seems an issue nowadays. The sad thing is, they have lost a generation of supporters. I run an U8s football team and we have 20 + for training on Saturdays. Up until last season you'd get probably three quarters wearing City kits. Now we're down to 2 maybe 3 maximum. Now most come wearing Man City or Liverpool kits. I doubt the club will ever get that support back.
Good idea, but the amount of money required nowadays to run/own a football club means there's not many doorsteps locally that would be interested and have the money available.
For next match on tv, the Aston Villa game, so plenty of time to sort. Firstly, all members who sit in E5, E6 and E7 should be encouraged to go sit in other parts of East Stand and anyone wanting to buy a ticket should be encouraged to avoid these blocks also. There will be thousands of other seats available in the East Stand if the Sheffield Utd game is anything to go by. This would leave all 3 central blocks over half way line empty, a symbol of what the Allams have created, and are the most visible blocks on tv, making it a talking point for the media. Then, on 18:00mins and 65:00mins, the crowd should hold up red cards and all sing "we want concessions back". On 19:04mins, the crowd to throw stress balls onto pitch accompanied by "City till we die" and "we want Allam out".
To be honest I don't think it would work at all, people would just look at the crowd and our league position and assume it's because we're crap that people are staying away. You only have to read the Sheff United and Barnsley forums to see their fans have no clue as to the actual issues, they're just bothered about their own team. There's so many issues with the Allams that it would take an hour to sit and fully explain to people exactly what's gone on and most of them wouldn't care enough to listen.
Yep there's lots of local multi million/billionaires who have no idea Hull City is available and never thought about getting involved.
Protest outside there house or factory which will piss them off far much more as they will actually be there
Agreed. I’m all for getting the games interrupted or abandoned. They get media coverage & keep the issues in the spotlight. To really stick it up the ****s & piss them off properly you need to disrupt them & those nearest to them. A 12:00 gathering each Saturday in their village followed by a march through the village to their house. A vocal 90minute rally from 15:00. Piss off them, their neighbours & all other local residents. It’d soon get to them. Would it make them sell any quicker? I’m past caring. Will it spoil their quality of life? Absolutely, reap what they sow. In their faces.
It does seem strange that in a relatively small City in which everyone knows where they live and work that nothing along those lines has been tried. It's not like they are international owners that cannot be reached. Obviously any action should be strictly lawful otherwise they'll have a field day but protesting outside their place of work would be a good start, they'd hate that.
Radical thought .....how about a reverse boycott! I know this would not sit well with all the fans boycotting saying they wont give the Allams another penny but it would send a massive message to the Football / business would of the potential of Hull City AFC if the Allams were to leave/sell up. Pack the place out and create a atmosphere we have not heard for a long while. Sing what ever protest songs we like up until kick off, but then for 45 mins support the team. Half Time the protest songs start again, imagine the Pundits being drowned out by Protest chants live on Sky !!.Might need some Singers in the South stand concourse but I'm sure this could be organised. Then as the second half starts we support the team for another 45 mins. Win-Win...for 90 mins we support Hull City....but it also sends a message out about the size of the support that is currently staying away!
Then Ehab pipes up - 'See, what problem? Everyone is here and happy. The attendance was over 60,000 I believe.'
As someone who would be impacted by this, I can’t - and won’t - give them another penny. However I’d fully support such a rallying cry for an away game. As many as possible go, a ridiculous following and do precisely as you state. Brum would be ideal, a massive game in an area most can get to with ease. It won’t be anywhere near a home sell out and with the right publicity machine a 6k away following would achieve the same result you seek.
I like this idea. I like it a lot. Brum stewards probably wouldn't give a flying fruitcake about any allam out banners either.
There's no issue with potential buyers. There have been plenty. The problem is the owners didn't want to sell it. Hence the protests.
Don't be silly, it's a well known fact that a potential buyer was about to sign on the dotted line but heard one fan shout 'Allam Out' and so withdrew from all negotiations... #Allamfacts EDIT: Found the transcript
