'Pressured' or encouraged? Apparently the agency in question has a number of ex saints working there. I don't think it's that unusual for clubs for favour certain agencies for academy players. There's plenty to criticise Les for, but the agent thing doesn't ring true for me.

Tbf I’ve never made my feelings towards LR until now, never really thought much of him before, think even less of him now.
So not fickle just consistent in my dislike of him

I know it doesn't mean much, but given I was checking out Theo's odds earlier (on skybet), I thought I'd also look at who else they're linking us with:

    Theo - favourites (4/7)
    Mitrovic - 9th favourite (25/1)
    Mawson - 3rd favourites (16/1)
    Carroll - 2nd favourites (25/1)
    Sturridge - favourites (5/2)
    Ings - 4th favourite (10/1)
    Wilshire - 4th favourites (25/1)
    Allen - 3rd favourites (18/1)
    Shaw - 3rd favourites (25/1)
    Balotelli - favourites (6/1)
    Igaho - 5th favourite (15/1)
    Sessegnon - 3rd favourite (10/1)

Why does everyone want Walcott all of a sudden, have I missed something, he's average at best and gone through more ice packs than chest freezer.

I’d prefer Balotelli of the two. Both is fine though.

Balotelli is a ****in idiot. Has the talent and been giving more chances than most kids could ever dream of , but will never reach his potential because he wants to be the "cool" guy. Total nob!

Except he’s scored 33 in 49 in the last couple of seasons, so, y’know, maybe he is fulfilling his talent now he’s grown up.

Regardless, if we’re condemned to suffer Pellegrino for the rest of the season, we need some entertainment.

Whatever suits your argument. I think he’s turned a corner. I could be very wrong but he’s not caused any issues, and scored goals.

My point was he could of been as good as he wanted playing at the highest level for almost anyone had he just got his head down and cut the crap, but he's ended up at nice.

    Balotelli,Walcott.........absolutely no chance.
I think you’re be lucky if Saints buy a “household” name.
*Stops.............waiting for all those whom will say “I know of him,I’ve heard of him.
Face facts Saints will buy players that aren’t household names whom they will try to make better, then sell.
    No Walcott No Balotelli

Best way of doing it tbh. All of our best players in the past 5 seasons have been "unknowns".

Sometimes teams just need that “boost” that others in that dressing room need.
Instead of whoooo! Never heard of him
    Just my opinion,not of others

For me, this somewhat links to TLL's post on the matchday thread.

Getting an atmosphere of support and encouragement at SMS is pretty important if we're to survive. Bringing in a manager and a player who most fans would give a nice nod of the head to, could really help with that. Le Tiss said something similar today, about the boost that signing Theo would give the crowd.

I know you're talking about the dressing room, but us fans need a boost too.
