Never black and white with Politics. Corbyn is the about as decent a person as a politician will ever get, but I'm under no illusions. Behind him are as many self serving politicians as sit opposite him. I'm also aware that being a decent person isn't necessarily enough to run the country. It's a minefield with risk everywhere.
Did you watch the video? If any fool knows you can't negotiate with terrorists what category does Corbyn fall into?
I'm not a political person but I do get interested in the run up to an election. Corbyn has recently gone up in my estimation. He's handled himself far better than May recently (she's looked a blithering idiot in some of the things I've seen) - I also think if I was to bump into Corbyn on the street and ask him political questions then he could handle himself well - I don't think that May could!! Still have no idea what to do on Thursday! But my gaffer thinks there's every chance of a hung parliament!
I did watch it, he doesn't say it anywhere. I don't think you watched the video. You just pressed play and saw what you want. Oh by the way. The souce of your video has failed in recent days doing this on other matters. Want to see? And on and on it goes. 1 click to see the whole timelime. Your slip is showing Shack on this one.
I was anti Corbyn before this election. Didn't have anything to go on but the word of my elders and I foolishly let them mold my opinion. They scaremongered me over his 'policies' which actually turned out to be ideals based on a drive of righting wrongs and turns out in no way exclusively connected to his political policy. Yes he wants rid of trident. Is he going to do it? No, he just craves for a world where he can. He'll never achieve it as good vs evil is a never ending battle but he's in that battle on the front line for good. But his sentiments and morals can help make the world a better place even if he'll never deliver on his ideals. My opinion has changed considerably, he's a good man, he won The Gandhi Foundation International Peace Award 2013. People like Shack who are intent on twisting words to try and depict him to be a bad man just isn't washing. He's clearly not a bad man, they're flogging a dead horse. He's ran fantastic campaign and if he doesn't win, he's managed to utterly transform his reputation and proved beyond doubt that he is a thoroughly decent human being. He deserves that. I'd like to shake his hand. He's gone from a back bench joke do a decent credible man of peace, what he clearly always was. I'm pleased for him. Topper fella. Would have been interesting to see if he could have done a good job as PM.
Even as a supporter I hope he doesn't win tbh., let May and her three stooges sort the mess out, hopefully with a reduced majority. If Corbyn did win, he would be slaughtered either by Junker's army, aided by the capitalist lobby or even worse his own backstabbing colleagues, of which there are plenty, he deserves a better deal than we are going to get imo.
But NHS and Social Care are on it's knees. I'll fight right to the polling stations for our elderly to have the right to die in comfort, with dignity, free of worry.
I'm with you all the way mate, the fight to improve our institutions goes on, this has not been the one sided landslide envisaged, and it is mostly down to Corbyn, who is obviously not the clown, most, including some on here, would like us to believe.
Abbott has always been someone who I have thought of as a liability. However, at this moment in time I have genuine concerns for her mental well-being. She is slurring her words and does not seem to comprehend what is being asked..
Absolute gentleman. You always have been. Hopefully I can shake off my demons for good one day and live with the sort of personality and attitude that you have.
She certainly doesn't look to be coping with this election campaign. Byond her performance as a politician she's still a human being, she should step back if it's making her ill. It looks like it is tbh
Stephen Hawking has announced he's voting Labour, declaring that Tories will be a disaster for the NHS, police and public services. Smart fella. Just saying.
You have got to be Jossing, Reg, ABBOT AND COSTELLO NEVER IN THE CREATION OF CRAWS **** WILL I VOTE FOR THEM 2
I find the whole thing frightening mate, the idea of May being where the buck stops in these difficult times. And, as for leaving Europe ...... it may have seemed like self determination but I think it'll be a massive mistake. In 10 years time we'll still be in turmoil and nowhere near the end of it all.
When May talks about Brexit it's like she doesn't realise the economies lean on each other, both prospering is in the best interest of everybody. She want's the best deal for us bet never ventures into the fact that in the long term the best deal is a fair deal for both sides. The fact she's willing to walk away if she doesn't get her way is frankly scary and sends alarm bells that she's incapable of this. Corburn seems to realise the importance of not failing in these negotiations. May clearly does not if she's willing to walk without a deal. It's not an option that should be even considered. She's so weak.
Labour's Manifesto is costed fella. All parties in this election I've found to be incredibly frank except the Tories. Like their secret plans to further cut the NHS for example which they've failed to bring up before the election but fortunately, for the good of the country, have been leaked. Abbott is fool, there's no defending her, she's lost the plot and I've never implied she's competent.
Costello has also been grilled on T.V. about his policies and costings and was found to be wanting, think he could have got the question right in the end but wasn't allowed to take his socks and shoes off and use his toes, for anything over 10
