Everton will roll over and have their bellies tickled.

Soton have basically just given up, even the game against us they didn't bother attacking and we were just too slow break them down. Difference being Arse have Sanchez to make an impact.

If that was the case then Everton would've rolled over for Man u as well.

At the beginning of April, when Everton still had something to play for.
Everton are guaranteed 7th, can't finish any lower or any higher, and a Europa League place (I think). What have they got to play for, they have zero motivation other than to help **** up our season (potentially)

Couple years ago or so when we were battling city for the title, they went to Everton who were in good form and in 5th place. Guess who won that game?

I doubt Everton will deliberately throw the game. Their fans will probably be doing their usual dance supporting the opposition rather than their own team when they think it might harm us, but the players are professional and positions count for money.

Everton may not be as motivated but they won't throw the game.

Yes I'd agree, the team wont throw the game on purpose. However with nothing to play for and Arse potentially still having to win, can't see the Everton players playing to anywhere near their level, which is whats needed to beat Arsenal at home.

They'll give it go for a half or so but if the concede first they'll roll and get into doggy to receive a good ****ing

It's not about us, they'll sack it off because Koeman has lost the dressing room

So if your team give it a half or so but concede first and lose will they have rolled over?

Lose to Arsenal and we miss out on Champions League. Everton will basically throw the game

yeah... I really think its an insult to a fine city team to say you could ever beat them when they were on a run. Like you did well to even get 2-3 :)

the evidence was there for all to see the following year. you ended up 11th... now city didn't fare so well either did they but they were still a lot better than you.

You are playing arsenal last day... they are not what they were but your lot have shown a distinct lack of desire in the past month so why expect a team who was happy with 7th so bother its hole on the last day? you've known 7th would pop a Europa place anyway the way the cups fell so... you were never getting cuaght so you've switched off all over the club.

simple really. lucky is full time club hunting. barkely is deep in contract talks, coleman is laid up and the cbs are all on zimmer frames

FOr me arsenal will win against you unless they've already blown it and then just put one eye on cup final.

Its not like LFC fans have not seen our own club do exactly the same a few times under rogers.

Diafra Sakho, Cheikhou Kouyate, Mark Noble & Andy Carroll will not play.

Andy still drunk is he? poor fella.
Btw antonio signed a new contract so he won't be arsed to perform now...

thier line up v spurs was:

adrian
Fonte Ried Collins
Byram Kouyate Noble Cresswell
Ayew Lanzini
Callini
From what you are saying they are losing the CMs from that side. so Nordtveit will come in.

I expect it to be a 352 type formation with 3 big CBs and two full backs then looking to break fast with lanzini and ayew on us.

They just need two blockers in there at CM. they also have a lot more subs available to them than we do. Fletcher, snodgrass, fernandes etc

This will be tough... the KEY is to look at those 3 CBs... and RUN AT THEM. don't run away from them or try pass round them no... get it forward quick and run at them with pace on the ground. so IMO sturridge, forimino and coutinho must start BUT must play high up and go at these guys.. its no good hanging round the cnetre circle here

the other key is not lose this game so 3 big cbs is reduce set piece corners and keep the back door shut... IF we drop someone for lallana it ought to be wijnaldum and keep lucas between the 2 cbs for the first 60mins... he might last that long and just hold the shape.

MY team:

Mingolet
Clyne Matip Lovren milner
Lallan Lucas Can
Firmino Sturridge coutinho

wijnaludm first sub on and then origi... neither have done enough to merit starting berths lately. obviously lucas and sturrdige to come off.

the best we can hope for is 0-0 for an hour then as they get cosy we get a goal and then defend like mad for 25mins.

I can't see us getting a fast start with our side.. we have just no intensity without mane. so... we have to continue conceding little and getting an odd goal out of a bit of skill

Coutinho needs to actually show he cares. he looked like he was having to drag himself to run after 60mins v southampton. just looked out of sorts after his dead leg.

The game is a dead rubber for us, and we never get anything at the Emirates anyway.

Course it is. Thats just the way it is, most last day games are really just party time. away last day and you really are just fulfilling unless you've something to win.
