I imagine when a whole bank of Swansea fans roar his name, the ones in the front put their rain hats on!
Will everyone stop wishing for all the northern clubs to go down. Ive only got 4 clubs within 100 miles, and Burnley is a bugger to get to from here. Newcastle are going up but that is not enough. Come on Huddersfield and Sheff Wed.
Every footballer of quality, who isn't already around London and the Southern Shires, wants to head south, I hear. Which is why it's northern clubs, who aren't able to pay a king's ransom, who are leaving the PL. And that point was made very sorrowfully by Gary Neville, not me, a few weeks back. Personally, I'd like to see Huddersfield make it, but I appreciate that Reading would be a nicer, easier away trip for most Saints fans.
The Swansea players are paying all expenses for 3000 fans to go up to Sunderland next Saturday. Great gesture.
They are at palace. Big game next Sunday. With Swansea playing Saturday they could go 4 pts clear and defeat for hull will see them relegated. A win for hull against palace would be interesting though.
