Disappointed for him but we won't miss Dyer. Think that was only his second start this season and has only a handful of appearances. Barely featured for us so it's business as usual.

I have to say I was most impressed with that Mawson. A centre half with technique like that for the volleyed first goal, not to mention his all round defending - looks a top prospect to me, destined for the top.

I think the amount of points to stay up will probably be about 37. Better to always get over 40. I think we'll need to grab a couple of away wins as I'm not sure we'll win the games at home everyone is banking on us winning.

Yeah we might not win all the games people expect , the thing is now we seem like we can potentially take points from any game
None of this writing off all the games against the top 6

The article didn't mention the Bournemouth away result and generally just how poor the defending continued to be, changing the goalkeeper was part of that but it was only briefly touched upon. The defeat against West Brom after taking the lead wasn't actually that surprising to many. So it wasn't as much of a surprise that there was a change as he thinks.

The article missed out that Phelan was only chosen as manager after several other options fell through, so his being replaced was again not that surprising in that context to those following the club.

I hope 37/38 will be enough.....think Burnley should manage 2 more wins (Stoke, WBA and West Ham last 3 home games) and a couple of draws.

who'd have thought we would have beat Liverpool or drew with ManU at their place?
the bottom 6 are bunched together so much that all it takes is a win or 2 and we float to the top, just like foam in a bottle of piss.

Not sure we will win enough. We need Abel fit. And some luck.
Options off the bench will be crucial.
