There is no blame... it was an accident.
I'm guessing that you've never played competitive sport?? **** happens, it wasn't anyone's fault

Blame does imply intent. You could say that whichever Chelsea player crossed the ball in is 'to blame' for the ball even being there. Mason to blame for not being aware of players around him. Jak to blame for not coming out to punch the ball clear.

    Etc. Etc.

No one was to blame, it was an accident.

If the worst came to the worst and Ryan couldn't play again under clinical advice, are we insured for such an eventuality?

What happened with Cech and Long - was that a fracture of the skull?

I mean, I could google it but....

Edit - sorry not Long, but Hunt. I knew one of our players got booed for it.

    It was an accident.

I think Cahill was instructed to do it by the premier league which is why the referee allowed him to get away with. They're trying everything they can to get the Allams out of their league and who can blame them?

Most professional footballers have their own career ending injury insurance.

In fact, there's one bloke who handles the insurance for a third of all Premier League players and a quarter of all Championship players.

He has a very nice car collection.

They Lino & Ref only failed to see the blatant foul on Hernandez, which should have resulted in a penalty, because Wenger pushed the fourth official.

The word on Conspiracy Street is that they can't punish the big Southern clubs, small Northern clubs have to take the hit for them.

You think the Allams have enough brain cells between them to even think about insurance?

It's a bit distasteful to talk about whether the club is insured or not when the lad has just had major surgery and lying in hospital.

It could have life changing consequences for him.

Lets all hope he makes a full recovery first and foremost.

For ****s sake, can we just stop and give the board of enquiry **** a rest. It happened, and Ryan Mason is now in a stable condition, lets just all concentrate on his recovery, leaving the finger pointing and "what if" for another day.

Best wishes Ryan. What a sickener.

Don't know what this means in terms of how long he'll be out, I'd hazard a guess that a crack in the nut will finish his season? Too early to say.

Blame doesn't imply intent, it merely indicates that a person is responsible.

Someone can be blamed for an accident, it doesn't mean they intended to do it. For example, if I pull out at a junction without looking and a car hits me I am to blame for that accident even though it wasn't my intention to cause a collision.

If there is intent it is no longer by definition an accident.

It was good to see the speed and professionalism by everyone involved in looking after both Mason and Cahill . . It's these very incidents that make it all the more important players don't feign injury in a tackle - and those that do are swiftly punished .
