I'm surprised you bit.
It's not annoyed me or anything, just want to know if he can see he irony of his actions.
I'm surprised you bit.
It's Assem Allam who wanted that, Ferriby aren't associated with him. It's Steve who runs the club. He pays for everything.
A monumentally pointless post.Firstly, hello friends, it's been a long time! (Sits back and waits for the usual narrow minded sycophantic local media boot lickers to reply).
Well to paraphrase Marco Silva when taking to the real media without hidden agenda: "It's football...”.
I'd actually further this. It's not football anymore, it's just business!!!
As Don Robbie and the Oughtreds might have said years ago, it's the same as marketing Tiger Cola. It's all about Money!!!
Is that similar to real tennis, only different? As I've said many times, personally I prefer real football.
Smith, Toshack, Greaves, Harris, Bowles, Best, Ball, Hunter, Nicholas, Merson, Wright, to name but a few. In fact, against the likes of Hunter, Harris and Smith, your cheating plastic heroes would not even be on the pitch in the days of real football.Ronaldo, Bale et al? Plastic
I think that you will find that Jake was quite happy with a 4 and half year contract at his age and history in the game, whilst the business that is Hull City are also extremely happy with the £10 million plus they pocketed.Except, Jake.
There are a lot of fools on Here that think
There is a hidden new owner with a master plan.
The new manager is in control.
Jake wasn't fitting in to his style.
We have secured a master stroke by bringing in a new team who will revolutionise the football
There is a bright new dawn
Sadly I think the reality is we have no one close to interested.
The owners are completely in charge and the new manager is just doing what he is told money wise
Jake was a tragic loss that no one wanted
We got a team that was desperate to sign at a PL club so they have come cheap and will do what they are told
As for the bright new dawn I remain positive as any change can help. I'm certain that this isn't how the majority of people on here see it as or hope it is!
If we succeed it will be down to fortune, not because we paid top dollar for class.
Hmmm.
1) The involvement (financial or otherwise) of the Allam family is unquantified. They definitely ARE 'associated' with NF, unless someone has been pimping photoshopped pix of a grim- looking SF next to the Allams in their box at the KCOM
2) If SF doesn't think name changes work, perhaps he could do the football world a favour and suggest it to AA and EA next time there is a big family get together so they get the idea rammed into their thick skulls.
3) Perhaps the loyal Villagers fans could be persuaded to 'Earn Their Stripes', and high walls erected in the allotments to deter folk peering in FOC ?

Strikes me that the only people unhappy are those fans like yourselves, who dont matter anymore and are simply a meaningless stream of income to most clubs in the top two tiers of British football that's hardly needed anyway. It's Business!!!
Why was my post removed?
No posts have been removed from this thread, Mussie posted the thread twice and it obviously wasn't worth posting once, never mind twice, so the other thread was deleted.
Welcome back Mussie, the boards been poorer without your unique insight and views.
OK then folks. Keep banging that Murdoch sounding drum. And good luck to all. It does seem that in true Hullensian terms one stagnant insulated opinion is quite enough for this small minded chat board. Tadahhh.
TFFT, Vern's more interestingAnd then just like that...pfft...he was gone.
