Mason doing the presser with Marco today, but it's at noon, rather than the normal morning start.
Presumably, because they want to announce whether the new signings have been registered in time to be available tomorrow.
Very christmassy at the training ground.
Mason up first...
“It was a dreadful day at Bournemouth earlier in the season. It was embarrassing! We want to make amends for that.”
“We go into the game with plenty of confidence and we're aiming for all three points. We know the importance of Saturday’s game.”
“We’ve got quite a small squad so it’s good to see some new arrivals. It’s important that we get players in to help us get results.”
Silva up next...
MS on Niasse and Evandro Signings: “They have come here to improve our squad and we are happy to have them on board.”
“My players haven’t forgot what happened at Bournemouth, but tomorrow is the chance to change that, not revenge.”
“We only play to win the game - nothing else. That is all that matters.”
“We play at home on Saturday and I hope our fans support the team just as they did at Old Trafford.”
“We are stronger with the Stadium full and with the fans behind the team. We need them to be fully behind the team.”
Michael Dawson and Curtis Davies both trained today and are in contention to feature against Bournemouth.
Josh Tymon is also available for selection after recovering from the injury he picked up against Manchester United in midweek.
Jake Livermore has recovered from the illness which forced him to miss the EFL Cup Semi-Final at Old Trafford.
Silva wouldn't be drawn on the availability of new signings Oumar Niasse and Evandro ahead of tomorrow's home game with Bournemouth, but it's believed we're waiting on international clearance for Evandro only and City are hoping to get it in next few hours.
