I've seen a lot of Ron's comments and to me he looks uncomfortable. It would not surprise me if he is under pressure from the board for not playing youngsters after all that is the key selling point of the club. Maybe Guan was right and maybe Ron is looking for a way out.

Very much like the first team, lots of pressure, lots of missed chances, lots of dodgy decisions, lots of luck, all bad.

 

Quite enjoyed that first half. Good goal line clearance by Stephens, shame about the penalty he conceded.
Hesketh putting in a "come and get me Utd academy" performance?

 

Sam G getting some rough treatment, no help from the Officials at all.

 

Hesketh, Sims, Reed, Gallagher all look good. They are all very comfortable on the ball compared to Liverpool. Reed especially looks quality.
Seager is looking okay too - impressed with his hold up play considering he isn't a target man. He should have buried that one-on-one though!

 

Reed does look good. Curious now,why do the under 21s not have veho or movi on there shirts

 

Alfie Jones looks quite confident on the ball. Reed doing really well maybe trying to prove a point.

First time I've seen Jack Stephens play. He looks very good.

Dare I say it: I think Reed would make more of an impact in the first team than JWP. I rate ward-prowse, and think he will improve, but Reed looks better at just about everything to me...

 

Very good team performance.
Seems to be a curse on the club, at all levels, at the moment.

 

Koeman's presence at the stands is behind this, I suspect.
