Just what I was thinking. Not a 'six-fingered freak' remark to be seen.

The sort of thing, incidentally, that got one of our own a lifetime ban. Go figure!

have read some of your comments and cannot see how someone can say that
? So you have this great insight into our owners and their business? Think not and if you did you would see how well respected and dedicated they are.

    Norwich staying up
Agree i was one who thought Norwich would struggle and i have been proven wrong but then i said Blackpool would stay up and they dropped like a stone second half of the season, we will just have to see.

Has beens? I think any of those has beens would walk into you team. Sadly i think that is a nasty dig because some clubs couldn't get in any quality.

As for us i don't know what the season holds but i am sure we are in the right hands and want to spend a long time in the top flight and not just 1-2 seasons. As for our midfield being 'weak' i think with Barton/Buz/Derry and Taraabt we shall be ok.

it is not a case of knowing who the owners are - you do not need to, but as it happens norwich fans are very well aware of fernandes after he attempted to buy us two years ago. its not difficult to tell what is going to happen if you carry on down the same line. watford_r raised some good points though and i realise you were stuck in a difficult situation and are only now able to try and correct it. what i am saying is that if your club continue to spend so sporadically in future transfer windows your club will end up doomed. it is inevitable. you aren't and never will be a big enough club to sustain a wage bill of humungous size, new ground or not. and just because someone is well respected in one line of business does not mean they are going to be a good owner of a football club. fernandes struck my club as someone who made all the right noises in public, said what people wanted to hear but then couldn't deliver. we were incredibly desperate for investment at that time and we turned him down. why could that be? there must be a reason!

not sure i mentioned anything about has beens. what is for sure is that most of your signings probably would not get into the norwich team as there is a particular kind of player who plays for norwich under lambert. they have to have the right attitude, the right skill level and the right personality to fit in and i don't know how many of your team have that - maybe some do and would get in. we have signed two england under 21 players who are captains this transfer window so to say we haven't signed any quality is a bit of a joke really. as for qpr's midfield - taarabt is poor at this level, buzsaky you are basing on one good game, barton is massively overrated and derry is probably your best midfielder... says it all.

Well if you fancy a quck profit you can get 18/1 on Norwich getting relegated compared to QPR at 5/2.To be honest QPR have such a horrendous last ten games that unless you get ten points from your next 6 games then I think it may be curtains for you.Barton? What are you on?

10 games? i thought the last 5-6 would be hard but 10?
Might have a £1 bet at 18/1 and if i win i can buy the famous Delia's 'dodgy teeth' Christmas cooking book!

So you were wrong on both accounts, tell me, what were you actually right about? So far it doesn't appear that your opinion isn't worth a great deal <ok>

Wrong again - do you really think a crock like Cisse would get in our first team ahead of Holt or Morison? Do you really?? Cisse was good on Champ Manager about eight years ago, and he's had a mountain of injuries since then and has hardly set the world alight in real life so to pay what you did for him on the wages he must be on is nothing short of insanity if you ask me.

I don't see an awful lot of characters in these signings, whilst we on the other hand have brought in two guys with bags of character, so much in fact they were captains of their respective teams at the ages of 21 and 23 <ok> I'm just waiting to see which one out of Zamora, Cisse and Onuha gets his lights punched out first by Joey Barton, and accident waiting to happen that lot <ok>

what i do find interesting about qpr currently is their belief that to get safe they need to throw money at it. swansea and norwich have both shown that having a decent plan and adaptable style of play is more important than throwing money at it. for me, the issue is that the owner wants big names at the club, but big names do not represent a) good value, b) good future potential, c) better talent than lesser names, d) competitive wage demands, e) ambition. if any of the qpr players get relegated this season with qpr they won't care - they either have the luxury of jumping ship or can stay on massive wages. there is little incentive for them to work hard and get better - its almost like a big pay day with little or no retribution for them - many of the signings can't even get better as their better days are behind them. its very much an all or nothing, throw everything and anything we've got at it and hope for the best attitude and it won't get them very far in the long run. if its just for this transfer window then they may escape trouble and build next summer but the way their owner talks i very much doubt that is the plan. they will continue to be a chelsea-lite.

The whole idea of simply throwing money at big name, big reputation players is entirely fraught with danger and has absolutely no guarantee of success. Look at Everton, constantly whining about how they've got no money to spend but when they do spend it look what a bad job of it they make. That Bilyedinov bloke cost £10m+ no doubt on huge wages and has just been shipped back to Russia at a huge loss after doing very, very little while over here. They also conspired to shell out £15m on Fellaini who I admit is a decent player - but have his performances really justified splashing out what our entre first team effectively cost to put together?

Bolton spent about £12m on Elmander who was a success during his last season, but was then released on a Bosman for nothing and he would have been on a fortune as well. Wigan spent almost that on Rodellega who has a dreadful goals/games ratio (though bizarrely still attracts interest in clubs like Spurs apparently!) and they also spent £5m on their keeper, who I agree is excellent, but couldn't that money have been better spent elsewhere?

I seriously wonder how some of these clubs operate their scouting network, it appears that some of them are prepared to write blank cheques based on reputation and some highlights videos without taking into account players attitudes and ability to settle into the squad and area. It really is quite staggering.

Well i was right when i said that we would be champions last season and that we were the best team. I was right that we would not be deducted 15 points.
But the thing that i am most proud of is that i was right when i said i thought your fans looked like a load of inbreds and wasn't dissapointed when i saw them. <ok>

Just to come back to this - They may not be in it to make a profit - although you notice that these people never leave a club poorer than when they went in. I.e. they will wind a club up into administration BEFORE bailing out with their own pocket. Just like many businesses they are run as loss leaders - ready to ditch when they can't pay a tax bill.

    now now, play nicely ellers

for what its worth i always felt it would be a disgrace had qpr been deducted points. however, they did break the rules and deserved to be punished for doing so. the real gaff was that the fa took so long to decide the punishment and then their announcement date was utterly stupid! and i tell you what, had norwich not taken the first 12-16 games to get used to the championship following promotion, we'd have won that league at a canter! we amassed far more points than anyone else in the final 30 games of the season. we made up 18 on qpr i think in that time. but a season lasts 46 games and qpr were rightly champions over the season <ok>
