Aww so you lost this discussion then. Never been an apologist for them. They are who they are and I recognise they will do what they do. To say they do it so Moses should is wrong. You want to have a discussion about the Allams pm me.
Non of us know the circumstances with Moses. Maybe the Physio's and Nigel being one himself have advised Ehab that ITO his chances of breaking down again are reasonably high. If the above is somewhere near what happened, then the club offered him a pay as you play contract, or something similar, which he feels is not acceptable, and that he has irons in the fire that will give him a good contract elsewhere. Under these circumstances I can understand why you would chose to leave. If he should stay and he breaks down he is stuffed financially as he wouldn't get paid, whereas if he does have a chance of a normal contract then he would be foolish not to grab it. Snodgrass recovered from a similar problem, and was out of 18 months, but came back to play, so there is a chance he maybe OK, so it is a gamble both for the club and the player.
Are you still wishing a broken kneecap on Moses? And why would you only chat about the Allams via pm - Aren’t they a relevant pair to talk about on a Hull City chat forum?
Lost this discussion? The first few lines of your original were hardly inviting informed discussion. Have another **** off silly ****
I agree 100% Chazz. I've worked in sales at numerous car dealerships, needless to say that some have an awful reputation, and unfortunately that's generally down to individuals who just turn up for their pay cheque. Don't get me wrong, pay is obviously important, but I love what I do, I love cars and I enjoy talking to people, and I always treat customers exactly the way I'd like to be treated, after all you'd never rip yourself off would you? The individual makes a huge difference.
Can’t be arsed to read the majority of the arguments in this thread, but it reminds me of the Wayne Jacobs injury, although I think we didn’t try to keep him & just released him.
5 pages of bollocks about something we don't know the facts about. Guess that makes it just another normal thread then. Pity Moses or someone from the club can't just come out with the facts about what actually happened. Guess that makes it just another normal situation then.
You said it yourself the employer and people matter. Noone wonder Moses left then.... He is working for the equivalent of a dodgy car dealership. For all we know pay not be important to Moses and he might take an offer somewhere else with better people? This thread is based on assumptions and people saying horrible things about a man who helped us get promoted. And those people have the hypocrisy to slate Moses for not been decent. Irony alert.
Never mind signing a new contract, I'd have actively been looking for reasons to tear up my existing one, whether I was out injured for 2 years or not. The club is a proper pikey circus **** show.
Some seriously short memoried ****ers on here, especially those wishing injury on M.O. - on a par with a stunt the Allams might pull. Wasn't his mum someone who worked to help people with health issues both in London and Nigeria? She died when Moses was a young kid, but he chose not to sponge off the state? Someone who has suffered his share of personal and professional set backs already and some say ' hope you break your knee cap' Would question whose moral compass need re-setting.
