A post script to my earlier heroes list; Alec Eisentrager. German, former POW who signed for us in 1948 just three years after the end of a really brutal war between our two countries. He gave City 11 years of great service. But above all a great man and to the best of my knowledge and memory, I never heard one word against him other than like we all do sometimes, moan about a bad pass or missed goal chance.
