To be honest I don't give a flying f**c what other fans or piss poor news outlets think of our players or our club , as my old man used to say " supporting spurs is like pissing while wearing dark trousers, nobody notices but you get a nice warm feeling "
Exactly how I feel. Meanwhile over on the Prem board, @Suckmyklopp ’s having a meltdown because people don’t rate Mo Salah as highly as Cristiano Ronaldo. Poor guy’s embarrassing himself.
Haha I just come back from my old man's who shoved about 8/10 rum and cokes down my gob before letting me leave.. Did I make a thread? I should probably apologise but I'll wait to see what I done 1st
Neither do I, but that isn't what is being quoted. It's the average scores of fans who bother to rate players on match reports. That will be mostly Spurs fans. Doesn't surprise me in the least that we rate our players below where other fans rate theirs.
Sort of, but Kane has world leading numbers for goals and assists so far.....you'd think our fans would give him a decent rating.
Glenbuck is a tiny village but produced a remarkable 7 Scotland internationalists including Bill Shankly, Sandy Brown and Sandy Tait, both of whom went on to sign for Spurs & with whom they won the FA Cup in 1901. Brown was even allowed to bring the trophy to Glenbuck where it spent two days in the village.
Looks like we had only 3 English players in the team , no London born , it would be interesting to know the reasons
