According to Manchester United's own website, the 3pm Saturday matches played by Man Utd are... 1/10 Norwich 5/11 Sunderland 26/11 Newcastle 10/12 Wolves Four of them, out of 18 games. It increases to a whopping five against Bolton Bolton on 14/1, but after that all times are TBC (the BBC website thinks the next one might be against us on 3/3, but Sky will probably have a thing to say about that, and a few of the other games they're playing afterwards...)
If nothing else, it means he could have only gone to the Norwich, Sunderland, Newcastle and Wolves games...
People want to watch our games, Lidls. When the refs aren't digging you out, your recent performances have been rather methodical, if I'm being generous. Dull might be a more appropriate description. Three points is three points, but it's not necessarily entertaining.
The same as Man Utd... 10/9 Wolves 24/9 Wigan 26/11 West Brom 3/12 Bolton ...mainly because our European games were played on a Thursday night, as opposed to Tuesday/Wednesday night, so our matches were switched to Sunday for that very logical reason. When we did play on a Saturday, it usually was at 3pm.
Goals are related to effectiveness, not to how watchable a team is. You've also taken another slice of games that suits you. In the four league games prior to the four that you've quoted you scored four times, for example. The four before that resulted in 5 goals. You've had the odd aberration, but on the whole you've been dull. Ask a neutral who they'd like to watch and I doubt they'd pick Utd.
Luke - would you fancy playing that side tonight with the side you've got now? You were very lucky with the fixture list to play us when you did.
Is that the same United that had a spell of 5/6 consecutive games scoring ONE goal....goalfest and money's worth!?
I did! , and i see you avoided the direct answer of No as to whether you'd enjoy playing us now. If we keep this momentum I'd fancy us to perhaps end City's home record in a few weeks...think about that one! I'd like you to go back to the thread where you deposited some excrement on points to win the league...my answer awaits you there!
And that I think completes my Royal Flush. Those posting later will not have a clue as to what I am talking about. Such is life
OK! well apart from the early game this season when we were under strength and without Parker & Adebayor we have had no problem with City look at our record. They are under much more pressure than us and are, I think, about to crack.
Well! no luck with Hairy Mary from Norwich, where is the landlord I have not seen a drink in this pub for aeons. It looks like this.
Luke maybe people are just bored stiff of watching ManU,I know I am.After x-amount of years watching the same old thing(even with new players)people just like a change and atm Spurs are the best option as we nearly always have an entertaining match and are good value for any neutral. It's quite normal for people to want to see something new and exciting and that just happens to be Spurs now.COYS.
