Ermmm forgive the posters ignorance, but you were the one who posted on here saying that Still had been offered the job (prior to the 11th April) - So that in itself indicates the club have been chasing him for months.

It's also no coincidence that the only managers we ever appoint are those out of work and are probably desperate for a job. Clearly no manager worth their salt touches us with a bargepole once they find out the inner-workings of how we operate.

Nobody has a clue man, not one person on this board has connections close enough to the board or those involved in key decision making to know that people are saying it's a **** show behind the scenes. Its been proven consistently time and time again.

The Stewart thing is too far gone now for him to return I think, I would rather we cashed in and signed the players mentioned today. If we can sell Gooch, Stewart, Batth and loan Embleton whilst keeping Roberts and signing Russyn, Burstow, Pembele, Achouchi and Crespo, that's good business.

If Gooch and Stewart are the only outgoings, with Pembele, Rusyn, Achouchi and a couple of others coming in, It turns it from a horror show to quite decent.

If replacements cant be made, Then we don't sell them, Like I said.

I mean it's hardly a major battle, both are on long term deals. We either tell the clubs to **** off, or rip their eyeballs out by doing a deal at a hugely inflated price that suits us.

Our best talent is Clarke, not Dan Neil.
