Shaun Harvey (merged with petition to sign)

I hate Harvey as much as any other Leeds fan, but the possibility of Cellino's disqualification has nothing to do with him or any imagined FL bias against us. If Cellino's tax offence is ruled to have been dishonest he will be in direct breach of the owners and directors test, no wiggle room. If...

    The Breakfast Debate

It's not finalised yet as Cellino's been in Italy working on the sale of Cagliari. Which is what anyone who'd done any research into Cellino's ownership record was trying to tell people, but that discussion's gone now I suppose.

    The Breakfast Debate

Dolan could be a very savvy appointment. When I was talking about the difference between people like Hockaday and promising young coaches Dolan was the kind of candidate I was thinking about. Reading practically worship the guy, plenty of their fans would have liked to see him get the manager's...

    Norwich preparing bid for McCormack

If either Ross or Rhodes move they're going to the PL. Both of them going to a Championship club. <laugh>

    Summer 2014 Transfers Mega-thread

That looks like a case of a vaguely plausible headline leading to desperate scratching around for material for an article. And Ross did have a great relationship with BMD, but he's also already as good as tweeted in support of our likely incoming head coach.

    Haigh

Personally I think Haigh's been done over by GFH. Got no particular good feeling for the guy but I think he's very naive and GFH have used him as their fall guy.

Offer From Newcastle For McCormack Turned Down

Remember Boggers that Warnock was a member of England's last WC squad and snubbed West Ham to come to us from Aston Villa. It would have taken a decent chunk of change to get him here.

Offer From Newcastle For McCormack Turned Down

Stephen Warnock's on £25k, Ross is on ~£20k as far as I know.

    Next Leeds Manager

I think Gary Mac could work if he can get someone in to sort the defence. Best win ratio of recent managers, had the team playing some nice stuff and found Snoddy and Becchio. If he can learn the lessons from his last spell in charge he could do well IMO.

Offer From Newcastle For McCormack Turned Down

I've heard Warnock is on £25k.

Offer From Newcastle For McCormack Turned Down

"Pete Graves ‏@PeteGravesSky 5 mins Absolutely zero interest from #NUFC in Ross McCormack. Isn't on the list. #LUFC" I think Massimo is trying to start a bidding war.

    How Much Longer?

I don't think you would have gone down had you not sacked Hughton, and I seriously question your board's decision to hire Adams full time.

    The Breakfast Debate

There's a difference between a late developer rising through the leagues and a player who has played at a consistent level his entire career. Ross has peaked/is peaking, we're not going to get anywhere near £8m for him. Rhodes was another player who was much younger than Ross when he moved...

    The Breakfast Debate

My point being he's not going to get any better than he currently is. Compare that to Danny Ings who is only 21 and could be on the verge of a breakthrough into the England team if he carries on his development, how much would you expect to see him go for? What Ross is worth to us isn't what...

    The Breakfast Debate

Are you sure we're not? Ross is 27, not exactly a youngster. Also remember Lambert gets the valuation boost being an England international gives you. I wouldn't expect much more than £4m.
