I was really impressed with his defending. Not seen him before but from what I read I was expecting him to be good going forward and suspect in defence, but he was great and, as previously posted, compared to Shaw a bargain!

I was at Harrogate, nothing special to report the shoreline didn't flatter us. The CJM goal was good but other that he was disappointing, got a lot of the ball but never attempted to beat a man, just ran up to them, or sideways, then passed the ball.

If he comes for free and gets a one year deal with an option for a second year it would be a good bit of business. He is better than what we have and hopefully will be a back up or alternative option to the next midfielder we sign.

We have a really good recent record of loaning excellent players and then signing them. I would love us to sign a striker or two on loan with a deal in place to buy them when we stay up. Try before you buy reduces the risk and doesn't break the bank. Question is whether it would be youngster...
