He is a Stoke supporter, he wants to see the club do well, and he has invested a lot of his money in the club. That doesn't mean he's a bad person for not investing all of his money in the club.

Well, it is his money, and while I'd prefer most of it went in taxes to pay for important things like schools and hospitals, he's under no obligation to spend it on players just to make Stoke fans happy.

Perhaps getting the boot from Stoke was the wake-up call he needed. He's done a great job this season.
