I wonder if Nigel is due some kind of pay out based upon our survival in the league this season and that is causing dispute?
Either way, I hope he gets a fair settlement and is allowed to go and manage elsewhere, he's a top manager and guy.
In the last 2 seasons he's made only 6 substitute appearances in his quota of 26 matches. Intruigingly (according to a NUFC fansite) in the last 4 seasons (1 in the championship) of his appearances only 3 have been off the bench in each season, so he's clearly good enough!
Don't want to see them liquidated but do want the rest of football to take note of the mess they were allowed to make.
What I do want is for us to get them in the cup so we can repay the premier league vs league one cup defeat we suffered and they harped on about non stop forever after!
It's akward isn't it. The relegation issues are decided so theres nothing to worry about regarding those fixtures but with the magnitude of our math, west ham, cardiff and boro you'd have to think there's a plan. I'd imagine get on with it as long as the called off game isn't one of the four...
Not at all. I never suggested that Steve was the answer so I disputed the suggestion I did. as far as your answer is concerned, perhaps I was being deliberately obtuse, but I read it as a defence of a plate I thought didn't perform. I see what you're saying though and still think that if guly...
Please show me where I said that? I believe I said I was unimpressed with guly and that he didn't bring impact. I'm a Steve fan but that's not what I said is it?
Twice? A speculative long range effort and a reaction header. Doesn't make him impressive in my book. We didn't need a deep play make we needed impact and direction.
I was not happy with the Guly change. He didn't attack or add pace, Steve is direct and willing at least.
But, I haven't taken Saints out of league one and to the brink of Premier League Football, so my opinion is invalid against Nigel's.
